Chapter 350 Regrets
They made a commotion in the corridor.
The nurse was stunned and ran to ask for help.
Jovan's bodyguards rushed over, but Terrence's men also came to help Terrence.
The two groups of people were tangled together, and neither had the upper hand.
Terrence's every punch landed on Jovan's abdomen. Soon, Jovan was beaten to the brink of death. He
lay on the ground and spat out blood.
"Terrence..."
Jovan's voice was hoarse. He couldn't even finish his words.
As for Terrence, he seemed to have completely lost his mind. He did not care about Jovan's condition,
and his attacks became more ruthless each time.
Terrence hated it when people threatened him with Alexa. However, Jovan dared to do it again and
again, so he had to pay the price.
When Christina knew about their fight and came over, Terrence still held onto Jovan and refused to let
go.
She immediately rushed up and forcefully pulled Terrence away.
"Alright!" Christina said sternly. "Look what you have done! This is a
hospital. You need to be quiet."
Terrence calmed down a little, but he still glared at Jovan with hostility and fury.
If not for Christina's persuasion, he would probably attack Jovan again. Christina glanced coldly at
Jovan on the ground and casually ordered someone to carry him away.
"You are so..." Christina frowned, her words choked, "So impulsive."
"He deserves it," Terrence said coldly.
"Alright."
Christina interrupted him and looked down at Terrence's hand.
Jovan did not have the upper hand, but Terrence was not unharmed.
After the conflict just now, the back of Terrence's hands was bleeding.
"Troublemakers."
Christina sighed and took Terrence to the treatment room.
As soon as she bandaged him, the nurse rushed over and said.
"Mrs. Duran, Mr. Ramsey, Ms. Duran woke up!"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtBefore Christina could speak, Terrence could not wait to get up and disappear in the blink of an eye.
In the ward, Alexa slowly opened her eyes and vaguely saw Terrence.
Terrence could not wait to hold her hand gently.
Alexa still felt the pain in the wound, but she immediately noticed the bandage on Terrence's hands.
"What happened to your hands?" Alexa asked in a hoarse voice.
Terrence's expression did not change. He showed no trace of panic.
"They just get accidentally cut. It doesn't matter."
Alexa frowned and wanted to say something.
However, Christina entered the room. Alexa immediately stopped talking.
"You woke up earlier than I thought."
"Yes."
Alexa responded softly and had nothing to talk about with her.
Christina asked some questions as usual and then left the ward after giving Terrence a few words of
advice.
"Does it still hurt?" Terrence's heart tightened.
"Of course, it hurts."
Alexa said half-jokingly and raised her hand in front of him stubbornly.
Alexa's hand was originally fair and tender. But because of the infusion, her
palm was swollen, and the back of her hand was blue.
Terrence knew that Alexa disliked pain very much.
But at this time, she managed to smile lightly.
"If you blow on it for me, it won't hurt."
Terrence held her hand as if he was holding the most precious treasure in
the world.
He rubbed his face against Alexa's palm and then kissed her entire palm
little by little.
"You will get better, Alexa." Terrence forced out a smile. "We have already
thought of a way, which has a high chance to succeed."
"Okay." Alexa nodded, her eyes as clear as stars. "I believe in you."
"When you have recovered, we will meet Damarion."
Terrence leaned against her bed and whispered, saying whatever he
thought.
"We haven't gone back for such a long time. He must miss us very much."
"Are dad and mom okay?"
"They are all good." Terrence nodded. "Everything is good."
"That's good."
Alexa felt a lot more at ease and slowly closed her eyes.
Terrence was scared and even panicked, but he did not show it on his face.
"Alexa, are you tired?"
"Yes, a little." Alexa endured the dizzy spells and forced herself to focus. "I
want to sleep for a while."
"Okay, I will stay by your side."
Alexa felt that tears were about to burst out from her eyes. She closed her eyes, but she did not
completely cover up the wet eyelashes.
"It's a pity," Alexa sighed heavily and said regretfully. "I'm afraid the oatmeal
you made just now is cold."
"No. Don't worry."
Terrence leaned over to kiss Alexa's tears and said softly.
"It will always be hot for you."
Alexa nodded. Her throat was in great pain.
The operation was undoubtedly a huge test for her body.
Although her whole body could not bear the pain, Alexa was too tired to
open her eyes.
She thought it might signify the loss of life in her body.
Alexa was afraid that she would never wake up again once she fell asleep.
She still had many things to tell Terrence.
Terrence stayed by Alexa's bedside and did not intend to leave.
However, Alexa suddenly grabbed his sleeve weakly. She tried her best to
hold back the blood in her throat.
"Terrence, I want to listen to a song..."
"Listen to a song?"
"Yes." Alexa's voice was very light as if she was requesting Terrence. "The

Terrence was stunned. He didn't say anything for a while.
He had almost forgotten about those nursery rhymes, but Alexa looked at
him expectantly. The memories that had been sealed in Terrence's heart
woke up.
"Okay, I'll sing it for you.
"Edelweiss, edelweiss, every morning you greet me. Small and white. Clean
and bright. You look happy to meet me..."
Terrence's singing seemed to have magic. Alexa was smiling, but her eyes
were gradually blurred by the tears.
"Thank you."
"Alexa..."
"My mother has never sung such a song for me."
"I'm here with you. I'll sing it for you every time you want to listen to it."
"Okay."
The sedative in the drip finally worked. Alexa closed her eyes to rest for a
while and then fell asleep.
There was a sound coming from the door. Terrence stood up and followed
unhurriedly.
Christina stood by the door with her back to him and quickly wiped away
her tears.
"She slept?"
"Yes, she slept."
Terrence handed her a handkerchief, but Christina did not take it.
She did not even turn around and face Terrence.
"I will do my best to compensate. I owe her," Christina said in a deep voice.
"But she does not hate you."
Just as Terrence finished speaking, Christina powerlessly sat down on the
chair at the side, her sobs gradually getting louder.
Christina was on the verge of collapse.
"I don't know what I should do!"
Christina cried helplessly, which was different from her usual look.
"My daughter left me for ten years. I had a hard time looking for her, but I had to cut her chest with a
scalpel..."
