Chapter 349 My Beloved Daughter
Keyon stood in front of Finley and suffered the cutting for him.
Blood flowed out from the wound and quickly soaked his shirt.
"So you asked for it. I'll be ruthless."
Owen said through gritted teeth and stabbed the knife deeper.
Keyon couldn't help but let out a groan. His face became paler.
Seeing Owen's men gradually gain the upper hand, Keyon looked more ferocious. He tried to
counterattack.
But he ran out of strength. In the end, he fell to his knees.
"Clean them all up," Owen said with a gloomy face.
The thunder and rain outside became more and more chaotic. At the same time, there came a burst of
hurried footsteps.
"Someone is coming. Retreat!"
After that, Owen left Keyon and the others, disappearing at the end of the corridor.
"Mr. Duran, are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Don't worry. Take him out." Keyon looked at Finley.
"Mr. Duran!"
Hearing this, Keyon raised his eyes to look at the person in front of him.
Edwin stood in front of him with many bodyguards and politely nodded at him.
With a sharp metallic sound, the people behind Keyon instantly became alert against Edwin and the
others.
"Put away your weapons. They are not here to fight," Keyon said.
"Mr. Ramsey was worried that you would be in danger, so he sent me over to check."
"So, you followed us," Keyon sneered.
Edwin's expression did not change as he meticulously went forward to bandage Keyon.
"We can't stay here for too long. It's better to leave this place as soon as possible."
Edwin looked at his subordinates, and the black-clothed bodyguards immediately went forward to carry
the wounded and quickly left.

"There is indeed some progress, but I need to first write a report and hand it over to Mr. Ramsey."
"Okay."
Keyon nodded and agreed.
Although he and Terrence sometimes hated each other, Keyon still trusted Edwin.
"We can't go to the medical center now."
Keyon said vigilantly and asked the driver to drive to his private villa.
As soon as Finley was settled down, the medical center sent news that Alexa's operation was over.
Keyon treated his wound casually and rushed to the medical center
instantly.
Alexa was in stable condition, so Christina had someone send her back to
the intensive care unit.
Seeing Terrence still standing in the corridor, Christina reproached.
"What are you standing there for? Go and be with Alexa."
Terrence looked at Christina quietly for a while before bowing respectfully
to her.
"Thank you."
"You don't have to thank me."
Christina sat down on a chair in the corridor and wiped the sweat off her
forehead with a handkerchief.
At this time, she was not a serious doctor, but a kind mother.
"She is not only your treasure but also my beloved daughter," Christina said.
She thought, even though I am not a good mother.
There was a bit of loneliness in her eyes.
"Alright, you can stay with her. I still have things to do."
Then, although Christina was exhausted, she still hurriedly went to the
laboratory.
Terrence returned to the ward and stayed by Alexa's bed.
Alexa seemed to have fallen asleep and was lying quietly.
There were many instruments constantly monitoring her vital signs. Those
regular ticking sounds made Terrence feel at ease for no reason.
The door of the ward was suddenly opened. Terrence frowned and saw
Keyon.
As soon as Keyon entered the room, there was a faint smell of blood in the
air.
Terrence's eyes darkened. A touch of disdain silently flashed through his
eyes.
"Jovan made his move. His target is Finley," Keyon whispered.
"Finley is hard to deal with." Terrence gave a concise evaluation.
Initially, he thought that Finley had ulterior motives for approaching Alexa.
Now, things were getting more and more interesting.
"Finley's mother died of labor. As for his father..."
Terrence sneered and said slowly.
"I think you might as well go ask Mr. Duran."
Keyon's pupils suddenly shrank. He instantly thought of some of the truth.
But Terrence did not say anything more. He looked back indifferently, and
his gaze fixed on Alexa's thin face again.
"I only want her to be safe and sound. I don't intend to participate in the internal affairs of the Duran
family."
Keyon said nothing and quietly left the ward.
He was going to ask Scott what had happened.
However, not long after Keyon left, the door of the ward was knocked again.
A sense of vigilance instantly rose in Terrence's heart. The moment he
opened the door, he became hostile.
Jovan stood at the door in a suit, holding a bunch of fresh sunflowers in his
arms.
He casually adjusted his collar, just like a gentleman.

Terrence gritted his teeth and immediately moved out through the crack in
the door. Then, he quickly closed the door.
Jovan did not seem to mind, still wearing a proper smile on his face.
"Terrence, it's been a long time."
Jovan greeted Terrence, a sharp light flashing across his eyes.
"What are you doing here?"
Terrence's voice was terrifyingly cold.
"I heard that Ms. Duran is ill. Her father and I have been good friends for
many years, so I came to see her."
"She doesn't need anyone to visit her."
Knowing what Terrence was thinking about, Jovan asked, "Are you afraid?
What can I do to a patient?"
"You dare not do anything."
Terrence retorted directly.
"Is that so?"
Jovan laughed sinisterly. He knew how to provoke and irritate Terrence.
"Killing her now is easier than killing an ant."
"Bang!"
Unexpectedly, Terrence punched Jovan. The flowers in his hand fell to the
ground and were kicked away by Terrence.
"Are you risking your neck?" Terrence spoke one word at a time. There were flames of fury in his eyes.
Anything bad for Alexa could easily ignite his anger.
Although Jovan had learned self-defense skills, Terrence was good at
fighting. He punched Jovan with all his strength.
Jovan gathered his composure, but Terrence grabbed him by the collar and
lifted him, throwing another punch.
"I warned you before. You don't understand, do you?"
"Terrence, only children use their fists to solve the problem."
"Okay." Terrence nodded lightly, and his sneer became somewhat ruthless.
"Then I might as well kill you?"
