Chapter 321 Encountering Ralph But just as the family left, Ronald returned with Aiden and Ulysses.
They knew Leon was planning a surprise tonight, so they didn't want to disturb him at home.
Instead, they left the house and waited nearby until Tiffany returned. Seeing the family leave, they decided to cback and check things out.
Aiden and Ulysses walked into the living room. The decorations were still up, and the food was left untouched on the table.
It seemed they had left in a hurry, as if something urgent had cup.
"Grandpa, do you think something happened to Leon and Tiffany?" Ulysses asked anxiously, looking worried.
Ronald walked over to the table with a serious expression. He picked up a set of utensils and took a bite of the vegetables. The taste was so overwhelming it felt like his taste buds were exploding.
Aiden and Ulysses watched Ronald's strange expression. Before Ronald could say a word, Aiden took a bite of the food. Instantly, his face twisted in disgust, and he spat it out, reaching for the glass of water on the table and gulping it down in one go.
Ulysses ran to the kitchen to rinse his mouth and quickly popped a candy into his mouth.
When Aiden recovered, his face was scrunched up. He had never tasted anything so awful. Leon couldn't even cook a simple dish of vegetables. Now they understood why the family had left.
"Looks like Leon's first attempt at cooking was a failure," Ulysses said with a hint of mockery, imagining how awkward the scene must have been.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtRonald shook his head helplessly. If he had known, he would have taught Leon how to cook.
"But it's good they're okay. It's getting late, let's rest. They probably won't be back until very late, so we shouldn't disturb them," Ronald said before heading to his room.
Ulysses and Aiden exchanged a glance and couldn't help but laugh before going to their rooms.
In the restaurant.
The kids excitedly ordered their food, and Tiffany picked a few of her favorite dishes.
Leon called over the waiter, and soon the food was served. Tiffany and the kids, who were starving, finally had their fill.
The kids ate ravenously, getting their faces dirty. Tiffany gently wiped their faces with a napkin.
Leon kept serving Tiffany food, feeling a sense of happiness as she ate.
They spent an hour eating, and everyone was full.
The kids slumped in their chairs, rubbing their round bellies.
"Looks like Dad should be banned from the kitchen," Sam said, making everyone laugh.
They had all experienced Leon's cooking, and it was clear he shouldn't be allowed near the kitchen again.
"I'll go pay the bill," Leon said, pinching Sam's cheek as he stood up.
Tiffany started cleaning up the table and soon took the kids to wait for Leon at the entrance.

Ralph's eyes lit up when he saw Tiffany. He quickly walked over, staring at her in a way that made her uncomfortable.
"Tiffany, long tno see. How have you been? I heard about your tabroad. Are you okay?" Ralph asked, reaching out to touch her.
He just wanted to check if Tiffany had been hurt while abroad.
But Tiffany recoiled, not wanting Ralph to touch her.
The kids instinctively blocked Ralph from getting close to Tiffany.
"Ralph, my mom said she doesn't want to keep in touch with you. Please don't make things difficult for her," Sam said seriously, standing protectively in front of Tiffany. Now that Leon and Tiffany had reconciled, Sam wouldn't let anyone disrupt their relationship. He knew Ralph liked Tiffany, so he was even more determined to keep him away.
"Mom doesn't like you," Barry said. He is usually quiet around strangers, but he gathered his courage to protect Tiffany.
"Ralph, we're heading home. If you're here to eat, please go inside," Flora said politely, stepping aside to let Ralph pass.
Ralph was indeed there to eat, but seeing Tiffany made him unable to move.

"Tiffany, I just hope we can be friends again. You forgave Ulysses and let him return to the Cooper family. Why can't you reconsider our relationship?" Ralph asked, ignoring the kids and moving closer to Tiffany. Tiffany frowned, feeling uncomfortable with Ralph's actions.
"Ralph, I hope you understand that we can't be friends anymore. When I was abroad, the things you did to the Warren Gorporation were no different from your father's actions. If you had been straightforward instead of sneaky, I might have reconsidered our relationship. But now... it's impossible." When Tiffany first met Ralph, he was kind and empathetic, even in the cutthroat business world.
That was why she chose to be friends with him again when they met.
But Ralph had becblinded by ambition, losing his kindness and resorting to unscrupulous methods.
Tiffany understood the need for ruthless tactics to climb the ladder, but she couldn't condone Ralph's actions. So she couldn't accept his offer of friendship.
"Ralph, I'm only going to say this once. We're just competitors, got it?" "Is it because of Leon? Or Ulysses?" Ralph asked, clenching his fists and pressing Tiffany.
The kids wanted to pull Ralph away, but Tiffany stopped them with a look.
She didn't want the kids to get hurt and knew she could handle Ralph.
"Our relationship is like this not because of anyone else. You have your path, and I have mine. We can't walk together."
