He could see the wolves made their way toward them, and Darryl had emerged from the pack. He looked slightly
disheveled but unharmed.
It was apparent that the wolves had not attacked him.
The man was also shocked when he discovered that the originally fierce- looking wolf pack had turned completely meek
and obedient in front of Darryl.

The young man and girl widened their eyes in shock, staring at Darryl in complete disbelief.

heart. She cried out to Darryl, 'You're amazing! How did you do that?"
Awe and admiration were written all over the girl's face. She gazed at
Darryl adoringly.
Like her group brother, she thought that the man would die a horrible death. Instead, he
had emerged entirely triumphant.
Darryl cracked a small smile when the girl praised him.
’Alright!"
Darryl turned toward the wolf king. "The two people on the hill are my friends. Please don't
hurt them! If there's nothing else you need, you can go now."
Darryl's tone was gentle but radiated an impenetrable authority.
"Woo!"
The wolf king howled in acknowledgment before it turned around and disappeared into the
woods.
The other wolves let out a series of howls as well as they followed the wolf kind. In the
blink of an eye, they had all gone. 1
"Wow!"
The girl was overwhelmed as she stared at Darryl in utmost glee. "You're amazing! Those
wolves could understand you! Are you a beast tamer?"

Darryl was not being humble, but he had never learned how to tame beasts. He was merely telling the truth.
The man let out a smirk. "Speaking to beasts? I reckon you just got lucky."
He thought that the b*stard with the marks on his face only tamed the wolves by sheer dumb luck. 1
The girl ignored him as she continued to stare at Darryl in utmost admiration. "That’s pretty amazing! Since I was little, I've
always liked little animals, and I've wanted to interact with them. But I don't know how to speak to them at all. Can you
teach me?”
The girl looked so hopeful. It was adorable.
Darryl could not help but chuckle as he nodded. "Sure. It's not that hard." He proceeded to briefly explain to the girl all the
techniques it took to learn the language of different animals.
The girl listened intently, noting down every word Darryl said in her mind.
