Darryl was stunned beyond words. He scanned Khloris from head to toe, taking in the beautiful scene before him.

Khloris' eyes were still shut at that moment.
She had been in that room for many years, so she had familiarized herself with every corner of the room. Even with her
eyes closed, she managed to dodge all the obstructions!

Khloris finally walked toward her bed while drying her hair with a towel, slowly opening her
eyes.
Khloris was shocked when she saw Darryl-her mind blanked.
’Argh!" Khloris yelled a few seconds later.

Her scream had pulled Darryl back to reality as he finally snapped back to his senses.

position. Some even looked at her as a Goddess. Of course, she would be furious when a
strange man saw her curves.

Darryl thought to himself and gulped. Then, he grinned and said, attempting to comfort
Khloris, "Deputy, this is a misunderstanding. I'm here at this hour to bid you farewell. I had
no idea that you were taking a shower
Darryl had spoken so dejectedly.
'Crap, if I were to know this would happen, I'd have never come here,' he thought.
"Shut up!"
Khloris did not buy any of it. Her refined face seemed embarrassed and furious as she
spat, "Darryl Darby, you son of a b*tch! The tales about you were all true. They said you
only looked righteous, but you are secretly a despicable man. They weren't lying! 1
"Stop giving me that nonsense about bidding me farewell. Can't you do that during the
day? Why did you have to sneak into my room at this hour?
"You must be here with ill intentions. A man like you should die a hundred deaths!"
Khloris drew her sword out as she exploded with a bloodlust aura.
She had been thoroughly consumed by rage. As a Deputy Sect Master, she would never
let Darryl live after seeing her in such a condition.
Without hesitation, Khloris waved her sword around, illuminating the air with beams of
gleam, charging the sword toward Darryl's heart.

Khloris was consumed with raw anger when Darryl dodged her strike successfully. She quickly calmed down and dressed
when Darryl was still busy catching his breath.
Khloris glared at Darryl with bloodshot eyes.
The air inside the room shifted.
"Deputy Sect Master!"
Darryl chuckled bitterly as he tried to explain again. "This is truly a mistake!"
"Nonsense! Die!"
Khloris had no intention of hearing him out. She called out as she raised her palm and charged intensely at Darryl.
Darryl sighed resignedly and had no other choice than to strike back.
The two shadows danced in the room, emitting an intense and powerful aura, twisting the air surrounding them.
