When she was done with her jeers, Gonggong spared no more time as she sped up and charged her
sword in Lord Kenny's direction.
He was done for.
Lord Kenny's face paled with hopelessness.

At the same time, Gonggong never thought that Lord Kenny would seek the help of the
fiend race.
Lord Kenny's heart raced in fear at Gonggong's rage, but he managed to let out a laugh.
"Oh, Gonggong. I can't believe the great thousand-year-old Water God still can't see things
as they are when they're right in front of her. Here's a suggestion. Why don't you join the

If it had been five minutes ago, Lord Kenny would never have dared to speak that way to
Gonggong. Yet things were different then-the master had shown herself, and all he had to

Yvette landed a palm onto Gonggong's back with her fiend energy.
Yvette did not use her full strength on that attack. She had nothing against Gonggong. She just
wanted to hint at her that she should retreat before she had to kill her.

All the guards in the royal city cried out, panicking on Gonggong’s behalf.
They had not recognized Yvette but were able to sense that the breathtaking woman had a force
that was much more terrifying than that of Lord Kenny.

Gonggong reacted as swift as lightning, moving to raise her palms and meeting Yvette's in a heavy
collision!
As their palms met, an ear-splitting sound rang through the air as a powerful ripple of energy burst

Both Yvette and Gonggong jerked and flew backward at the impact.
It was apparent that neither party had shown any mercy with their attack.
