Chapter 4112

Colori Phoenix pondered briefly at his response. Then, she spoke slowly, ’ From the looks of it, Darryl Darby probably ran

into the fiend folks. Let's head back to the new territory for now."

Oliver nodded hurriedly, a solemn look on his face. Internally, he could hardly contain his glee.

Regardless of what happened there, there was no way Darryl was still alive. Of course, he was happy.

Amidst his joy, Oliver summoned his subordinates. With Colon Phoenix and Leia, they set out for the new territory.

Meanwhile, on the other end.

A few kilometers northwest of the Imperial Sky Palace, Archfiend Antigonus led his troop of a little under a million fiend

folks to set up camp.

Archfiend Antigonus had made several attacks in the last half of the day, but they had all been fruitless attempts.

The Imperial Sky Palace had Empress Nuwa. On top of that, the palace had been surrounded by three Innate Formations.

Archfiend Antigonus' army had failed to break through them, no matter how hard they tried.

In those circumstances, Archfiend Antigonus felt rather enraged.

Over at the camp.

Archfiend Antigonus stood there, face ashen. A sand plate of the Imperial Sky Palace outline was before him. The sand plate

was lined with markers.

Indeed, Archfiend Antigonus was trying to push the rules of the Innate Formations.

As long as the three Innate Formations were broken, the fiend army could begin their

ambush and take over the Imperial Sky Palace.

However, the formations had been cast by the Ancient Ancestors. Not only were they near

impenetrable, but they also held endless Innate spirits.

Archfiend Antigonus understood formations well enough, but he could not grasp how those

ones worked.

A few Demon Martyrs next to him stood in silence, not daring to utter a single word.

The tension in the camp was so thick it was near palpable.

F*ck!

Archfiend Antigonus eventually gave up on breaking the formation, chucking the markers

in his hand onto the sand plate. His eyes were crimson with fury, and his temper was nigh

flammable.

That was how the Archfiend Antigonus saw things-the fiend army had been revived and

could easily take down the Imperial Sky Palace!

However, he had failed to consider that the three Innate Formations would stop his efforts.

That would not do.

It would be too late to do anything if he waited too long, and the Ancient Ancestor would

finish their cultivation in seclusion.

"Honorable Archfiend!"

Amid the Archfiend's fury, Yooda, one of the twelve Demon Martyrs, stepped forward. In a

careful tone, he said, "Why don't we just attack by force?" 2

Attack by force?

Archfiend Antigonus sneered impatiently. "Grow some brains, will you?

Have you forgotten how many men we lost the last time we did that? Over a few hundred

thousand. It was a significant loss. We'll just be digging our own graves if we keep doing

that. Do you want me to revive you again?"

Yooda flushed with silent humiliation. He retreated to the side.

Just then, a figure entered the main tent. Her breathtaking looks were a sharp contrast to

the iciness of her gaze. It was Morticia.

Archfiend Antigonus' expression remained unchanged at Morticia's return. ’ I told you to

kill all the soldiers you found near the Sealed fiend Mountain.

How did it go?"

"Honorable Archfiend!"

Morticia was able to sense that the Archfiend was in a foul mood. Yet she remained unfearing, smiling in response. "I've

taken most of the soldiers near the Sealed fiend Mountain down. I also brought you a surprise."

A surprise?

Archfiend Antigonus frowned, just as the other fiend Martyrs' interests piqued.

He quickly asked, "What surprise?"

Morticia smiled faintly. "You'll find out soon enough, Honorable Archfiend."

Then, she said, "Bring him in."

Two fiend warriors carried a man into the tent. The man was in an awful state, and his aura was frail. Yet his gaze sparked

with power.

It was Darryl.

A human?

In an instant, the other Fiend Martyrs broke out into murmurs.

"Why'd she bring a human back?"

"What's the deal with him? Morticia called him a surprise."

Archfiend Antigonus let out a full-bellied laugh, turning to commend Morticia. "Impressive. What a surprise indeed!"
