There were several hundreds of thousands of fiends' dead bodies at the base of the Sealed Fiend Mountain. It
was clear that Archfiend Antigonus was there to revive those bodies with a spell.
As realization struck Master Magaera, he did not hesitate for a single moment. Tn a single move, he soared into
mid-air and cried out, "Gather around, quickly! Come with me, back to the Godly Region."
The hundreds of thousands of soldiers scrambled to do as they were told.
Just then, one of the soldiers pointed at a barely alive Skylar. " What should we do with him, Honored Master?"
"Forget him!" Master Magaera could hardly care as he spat the words out. 2
It was true that Skylar was immensely powerful. Yet, after suffering so many strikes from the Soul Slaying Whip,
he was as good as dead, if not heavily paralyzed. The most important thing at that moment was to get back to
the Godly Region to stop the Archfiend.
Soon enough, the soldiers had gathered. Following Master Magaera's lead, they set out for the Godly Region at
top speed.
When he saw Master Magaera retreat with his army, Skylar finally exhaled in relief. Then, his vision darkened,
and he passed out.
Skylar could hardly handle the hundreds of lashes from the Soul Slayer Whip. Yet he refused to look weak in front

The second Master Magaera left, he let the agony knock him unconscious.
He woke to a series of loud, uniform footsteps not long after that. In the distance, almost
two hundred thousand soldiers marched along. They sported shiny helmets and wielded
long spears, charging forward with enthusiasm.
They were the New World's royal army.
A luxurious carriage that gleamed golden led the troops. It was pulled by eight horses—it
looked grand. A man whose figure radiated power and royalty sat in the carriage,
noticeable from afar.
It was Lord Kenny Brand. 2
A month ago, a strange occurrence had occurred about the New World palace. Right after
that, Janson's spirit returned to pass on its soul. Lord Kenny had been confident he would
be chosen, but it was Yvette Lane who had inherited Janson's fiend soul in the end.
That had filled Lord Kenny with nothing but rage. He swore that he would take revenge on
Yvette. After that, an endless battle had broken out between the Carter family members
and the Heavenly Alliance. Lord Kenny was a man of grand strategy and had thus laid low,
not wanting to miss the opportunity.
A day before that, Lord Kenny had received news that a few hundred thousand soldiers
had been spotted in the Kunlun wasteland. Lord Kenny decided to visit them with his army
after some pondering.
Upon arriving at the wasteland, the hundreds of thousands of royal soldiers were stunned
by the sight that greeted them.
The wasteland was utterly empty, seemingly devoid of a single soul. Where were the
people?
Someone with sharp eyes saw a barely-conscious Skylar, and he cried out, "Look,
someone's there!"
In an instant, everyone's heads turned to a hill not far away.
A figure was sprawled on the ground, unmoving. He was covered in blood and filth, his
handsome features paled and sallow.
It was Skylar, and he was half-alive.
Lord Kenny frowned. With a wave of his hand, he ordered, "Bring him here, let me see who
he is!"

Two royal soldiers stepped forward, dragging the man back.

Upon getting a closer look, Lord Kenny had been able to recognize Skylar at first glance. The realization left him
in shock
Everyone froze as well.
Skylar had been wreaking a good amount of disaster among the Nine Mainland. What was he doing there? He
even looked severely maimed.

Lord Kenny finally snapped back to his senses, barking out orders to the soldiers around him. "Bring that man
back to the palace, and make sure he is given the utmost care." 1
Lord Kenny found it hard to contain his overwhelming emotions as he spoke.
It was important to note that Lord Kenny's ancestor Janson was also of the fiend race. In other words, Lord Kenny,
along with all the New World Royals, were descendants of the fiend race, just like Skylar.
Given those circumstances, there was no way Lord Kenny would turn a blind eye to the sight of Skylar in a state
like that.
More importantly, Skylar was one of Archfiend Antigonus' favored minions. If he managed to secure gratitude
from Skylar, Lord Kenny would have a much greater chance of getting closer to Archfiend Antigonus in the future.
With Archfiend Antigonus' favor, the New World would dominate the Nine Mainland. Lord Kenny was sure of that.
