Debra was shocked by Veron’s words. There exists such an extraordinary method?
Debra watched as Veron held Debra’s wrist firmly in one hand and her other hand slowly covered Debra’s
abdomen.
Suddenly, Debra started shuddering as she felt a stream of strong energy flowing into her body through Veron’s
hand.
“Miss Lange, please... There’s still hope for you!” exclaimed Debra as she tried to squirm her way out of Veron’s
grip;
However, without her internal energy, there’s no way Debra could escape Veron’s grip.

the vermin, skyler!” said Veron as she continued transferring her internal energy to Debra.

Veron.
As Veron’s last words were being said, Veron transferred all her internal energy to Debra, her actions caused
violent gusts of winds to bellow through the courtyard. The residual energy from the transfer emanated out of

Finally, as Veron’s energy was fully transferred to Debra, her face turned ghastly pale, her
legs could no longer support herself and she fell to the ground.
Even if Veron knew that her end has arrived, she kept on smiling. Veron looked at Debra
and said, “Debra, I trust you to carry out my last wishes!”
After muttering her last words, Veron slowly closed her eyes.
“Miss Lange! ” exclaimed Debra, she could not help but start crying over the loss of
Veron’s life.
Debra could not believe that Veron was gone, she tried to walk over and help Veron but
just as she stood up, she suddenly felt a surge of violent energy coursing through her
body.
Debra’s body, not familiar with this foreign energy caused her to faint before she could do
anything.
Debra slowly came to her senses after a while.
Debra was instantly greeted by the image of Veron’s limp body lying in front of her as she
came to her senses.
Veron’s face had already turned green and there were no signs of life on her body.
“Miss Lange,” cried Debra, her voice shuddering as she rushed over and cradled her body
in her arms.
Even if Debra was not really close with Veron, the thought of Veron dying still caused a
great amount of distress to Debra.
Tears streamed down Debra’s face as she mourned the loss of Veron.
After some time, Debra finally stopped crying and stood up shakily. She walked to the back
of the courtyard and dug a hole. After that, she buried Veron’s lifeless body in the pit.
After that, Debra sat crossed-legged in the tent and started to familiarize herself with the
foreign energy that entered her.
Debra could feel a surge of pure energy washing over her, she could feel herself getting
more and more powerful.
Veron was not lying when she said, ‘Reversal of the Universal Powers’ could help her get her powers back, she
could feel herself getting back to fairy soul and even more as she absorbed the power transferred to her by

Debra breathed out as she opened her eyes. There was a flash of determination behind her eyes as she leaped
up and flew out of the Valley.
As this was happening, Chester, the Carters, and some members of the Hidden Hero Sect were standing at a
small hill not far away from Five Poison Sect.
They all looked around anxiously.
The plan was, Veron would go back to the Five Poison sect and try to release Master Magaera. After that, they
would gather here. However, it was already a few hours past the time Veron was supposed to be here and she
was nowhere to be seen.
Dax finally snapped and said, “Why is she not here yet? Is this some kind of trap?”
Just as he finished his sentence, Elder Fire and the people from the Hidden Hero Sect frowned at Dax’s words.
Elder Fire retorted, “Master Dax, what do you mean a trap? Do you not trust us, even though we are already part
of the same alliance?”
At the same time, Chester also turned and told Dax off, “Dax, be careful of your words. Something must have
happened, something troublesome. We can’t underestimate Skylar.”
