"Yes, Sect Master!"
Kendall acknowledged the order. She then gave out orders of her own to the Five Poison Sect disciples to fire
together in Veron's direction.
"You’re all responsible for the death of my mother, all of you. Go to hell."

Gritting her teeth through the pain, Veron raised a hand slowly. A strong wave of internal
energy came rippling out, releasing into the atmosphere around her!
The energy around her seemed to crack and hiss. Right after that, a white phoenix came
to be. It whipped through the air, circling around Veron's figure. Its loud cries rang through
the air, audible to all!
"Ivory phoenix, pierce the sun."
The words came tumbling out of Veron's mouth like blades of ice as the lifted hand flicked
about.
This was the ultimate spell of the Hidden Hero Sect, exclusive only to the Sect Masters.
Half a year ago, Veron had come into its acquisition under Agatha's teachings, and had
succeeded in mastering it. she had never used it before, and this was the perfect time to
do so.
"Caw!"
The white phoenix let out a bright cry, charging towards Kendall!
The spell was about to hit Kendall! she could see it coming closer and closer!

manage to follow it with one of her own that was of such terror.
Right before it was too late, Kendall acted without second thought. Summoning all the energy in her body, she
raised both hands to form a protective shield that forged in the air around her!
"Boom!"
The ivory phoenix crashed into the shield, emitting an ear splitting sound. The shield shattered in an instant, and
the phoenix disappeared as well. Kendall was sent flying with a dull hum.
At the same time, the surrounding Five Poison Sect disciples were knocked backwards as well.
Taking advantage of the situation, Veron dashed out from the surrounding attacks, she soared off into the
distance, not forgetting to turn back and call out to Master Magaera, "You have to hang in there! I promise I'll
