"Very well!" said Grunt as he scanned his surroundings. With a face full of contempt he continued, "You have
denied your betrayal towards the Heavenly Alliance, but here you are siding with the Carter family. No worries,
though. Even with all of you helping, the outcome of the battle still remains the same."
He gripped his golden spear firmly and spun it in the air. With a burst of internal energy,
he charged towards Xenia and Yennie attempting to pierce right through them.
Wherever the spear went, it tore through the air and lightning followed. It was an
absolutely terrifying sight. When the disciples of the Carter family saw this, they could not
help but worry for the oracles' lives.
"Don't be reckless!" Dax shouted, his eyes bloodshot.
In the next second, he rushed in front of the oracles and swung his Sky Breaking Axe.
Immediately, a shield formed and deflected Grunt's attack.
"Don't interfere, Dax!" said Xenia.
'The difference between Grunt and Dax's ability was like night and day. He'll only get
injured if he participates in this battle. But it's too late now,' Xenia thought.

Grunt's attack had shattered Dax's shield as though it was a shard of glass. As the shield
had barely negated even the slightest of Grunt's attack, Dax took the full force of the
damage. The impact of the strike had left him spewing blood and his body collapsed. 1

He continued to battle it out with Xenia and the others after shutting down Dax. Amidst the battle, he ordered
