Upon receiving the order, the royal armies wielded their long knives and murdered the great warriors who barged

After a while, Darryl and Yvette had finally reached the ground. Darryl took a deep breath and was stunned as he

looked around.

'D*mn! That tomb was humongous!1 he thought.

Before their eyes were groups of black buildings, it seemed endless and it was even bigger

than Royal city. Moreover, the architecture of the buildings was rather simple and not as

fancy as the palaces. However, each of them was majestic and rustic. Not only that, there

were huge statues of warriors surrounding the buildings.

Each of the statues was meters high and they looked solemn with a huge sword in their

hands. The statues' facial features and armor were sculpted like real-life warriors.

"Why are there so many statues of warriors around the tomb?" Darryl murmured to

himself.

Yvette held on to Darryl’s arm and did not say a word. She spaced out as she stared at the

statues.

Then, Darryl noticed the eyes of the warriors were empty and he thought something was

strange about that. 'Why would these detailed statues have no eyes?'

Suddenly, Yvette realized something and said, "Darryl! why do I feel like the statues are

alive?"

She could not explain her feelings with words, when she first arrived at the Imperial

Mausoleum, she felt like she was being called out to. After entering the tomb, that feeling

became more intense, as if there was mysterious energy awaiting her in the tomb. At that

time, looking at the huge statues of the warriors, Yvette felt distant and close at the same

time, like they were blood- related. 'Were they alive?'

Darryl was perplexed and chuckled. "Yvette, are you hallucinating? Why would these

statues be alive? That's impossible..."

As he spoke, Darryl walked with Yvette after making sure General Grunt and the disciples of the Heavenly

Alliance were not around.

After taking a few steps, a beam of red light shone from the empty eyes of the statues, and immediately after, a
