‘Damn it! With both Ambrose and Dax around, it’s going to be difficult to fool this woman.’ Rogart was seething
in anger.
Then, he smiled at Jewel. "I’m an envoy specially sent to the Nine Mainland by the Nine
Heaven Emperor. Why would I lie? It was just a misunderstanding just now."

Ambrose agreed with Chester. However, he was eager to give it a go when he noticed how polite Rogart was to

Jewel nodded without even thinking twice. She was ready to do anything at all cost as long as Darryl would come
back safely.
At that instance, Rogart, who was standing on the opposite them, murmured in his head when he saw Ambrose
and Jewel were talking and discussing with each other quietly. ‘I wonder what Sect Master Darby and the woman
are talking about? Are they discussing how to deal with me?’
