A few seconds later, the Nine Heaven Emperor stared at Grunt and asked, "Grunt, is what you are saying true?"
The Nine Heaven Emperor respected the Ghost Valley Sage and refused to believe that he would have anything
to do with the lawless Darryl.
Grunt scratched his head; there was hesitation all over his face. It was just a guess, and he did not have any
evidence. Suddenly, he began to panic. If he could not show any evidence, they would say he had lied to the
Emperor.
"Your Majesty!" an official said just as Grunt was about to pull his hair out. "Yesterday, I saw the Immortal
Venerable Balman scolding a female disciple of his. So, out of curiosity, I asked him what was going on. He tried
to evade the question, but I managed to gather some information from other sources.
"They said that the Immortal Venerable Balman went to visit the Ghost Sage Valley and his female disciple had a

As soon as he said the last sentence, the entire Imperial sky Palace broke out in an uproar again.
"Your Majesty! It looks like I was right. Something is going on between Darryl and the
Ghost Valley Sage!" Grunt said excitedly. He was relieved; they would not say that he was
lying.
The Nine Heaven Emperor was silent. Then he shouted at the soldiers outside. "Guards,
summon the Immortal Venerable Balman's female disciple here!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" The soldier quickly went to the Balman Sea.
After a while, Lorelie came to the main hall and courteously got down on her knees.
"Lorelie from the Balman Sea respectfully greets Your Majesty."
Even though she was known to be mischievous, she knew that she had to be respectful
toward the Nine Heaven Emperor, she had just gotten out of her punishment when she
was summoned.
The Nine Heaven Emperor nodded, a signal for her to rise.
"Tell me, did you and your Master visit the Ghost Valley Sage two days ago?" Grunt asked
Lorelle.
"Yes!"
"Did you have a run-in with his attendant?" Grunt continued to ask.
Lorelie was stunned, and a sudden fear surged in her heart. "Yes, I regret behaving so
immaturely." she thought that the Nine Heaven Emperor had summoned her because she
had offended the Ghost Valley Sage, who the Emperor viewed as his honorable guest.
Grunt was happy to hear the answer, "what's the name of the attendant?"

The entire Imperial sky Palace erupted in pandemonium.
"It's really him!"
"I can't believe it! Someone so lawless like him knows the Ghost Valley Sage?"
Grunt was agitated too. "Your Majesty, that reckless Darryl impersonated you and must be in cahoots with the
Ghost Valley Sage!"
The Nine Heaven Emperor's expression darkened. "Summon the Ghost Valley Sage now!" he said coldly.
"No, Your Majesty!" Grunt said, panicking.
"Why not?" the Nine Heaven Emperor asked with a frown.
Grunt took a deep breath and said, "The Ghost Valley Sage would have come prepared if he was the one who
instructed Darryl to impersonate you, Your Majesty. It would be better if we go straight to Ghost Mountain now."
