“Who else has something to say?” Donnie said coldly as he looked around.

“Young Master Grady, without your help, I would never have been able to be the Clan
Head,” said Donnie humbly.
Grady enjoyed being praised as he smiled and said, “Second Uncle Donnie, our families
are close. I believe you won’t object to my proposal to marry Lolita.”
He grinned wickedly as he spoke.
Grady only helped Donnie become Clan Head of the Damien family to get Lolita easier.
Now that Donnie had almost succeeded in his plans, Grady was happy.
Donnie was a wise man and immediately laughed. “Our two families will be closer than
ever. This is awesome! How could I refuse?”
Then, he turned to Lolita and said cunningly, “Lolita, Young Master Grady wants to marry
you despite you having colluded with bandits. This is a blessing to you and your family. So,
I have approved this proposal.”
“No-” Lolita trembled, dreading the idea. “I won’t marry him!
Over my dead body.”
She realized Grady was doing all this just to get her. ‘He’s despicable! I’ll never let him get
his wish.’
“Shut up!” Donnie’s face sank and deepened his tone. “I’m your second uncle and the
Clan Head! I have the right to make decisions for the sake of your happiness. You have to
agree, no matter what!”
Donnie waved his hand. “Lock the Young Miss up and guard her well! ”

Lolita was in despair as tears streamed down her cheeks, ‘why is my life so miserable? My grandfather is gone
and I can’t even protect my family and I’ve been bullied by Grady.'
Once Lolita was taken away, Donnie smiled and said to Grady, “You can decide whatever you want to do about
the wedding.”
Grady was in a good mood and nodded, “when the Holy Light Ceremony is over, Lolita and I will get married.”
“Ha-ha! As you wish, Young Master Grady.”
Meanwhile, Angeline and Darryl were in the basement of Marshall’s manor in the capital city of the Golden Lion
Principality. After having relations, the medicine in Angeline’s body finally dissipated, she slipped to the side and
fell asleep.
Darryl sat by her side with a sad look on his face. Though he just had relations with Angeling, he had not the
