Darryl could not help but take a few more glances at Shanice as his mind was a little numb.
‘What is going on? Why is the inn owner here with a man and a lady in the middle of the night?’ he wondered.
At that moment, the inn owner walked closer to Darryl and said awkwardly, “Mister, the two guests behind me
needed a deluxe room for their business meetings. Do you mind leaving this room and I’ll arrange another room for
you? What do you think?”
The inn owner’s face looked apologetic as he spoke.

specific requirements for his accommodation, and he would have agreed under normal circumstances. However,
that trip to Mid Sky City was important for visiting the Dokko family to discuss the Chaotic Mountain Range. He could
not afford any delays.
Most importantly, Darryl was urgently waiting for Tanya to find him, and he did not have the mind to entertain such
a petty matter of room changing.
The inn owner smiled bitterly when he saw Darryl had rejected him.
At that moment, Shanice walked forward and checked Darryl out.
“Hey! By the looks of you, you probably spent your fortune to stay a night at such a deluxe room. What about this,
I’ll pay you double the room price if you move out of this deluxe room now,” she said arrogantly.
In her eyes, Darryl, who was dressed so poorly, must just be a poor villager.
Shanice’s telecommunication company had just started. In order to speed up its development, she wanted to

Winston through some connections.

so they would not be easily seen together. As the head of security, Winston was discussing office matters with

He smiled and looked at Shanice. “Miss, I’m sorry, but I’m not short of money, and I will not move out of this room.
If you really need a room, you can go to another inn!”

‘I offered him double the room price yet this poor guy rejected it?’ she thought.

arguing with the second Young Master of the Dokko family earlier on the streets in the evening, right? You claim to
be the Elysium Gate Sect Master, Darryl? You didn’t run away after causing trouble with the Dokko family, and you
dare to remain at Mid Sky City?”
