As Austin wandered across the universe, the rest of the cultivators also scattered and explored the vast universe that lay before
them.
They entered the secret passage with high expectations of getting a chance to find the gate to the Gods' Hometown.
Now that they were lucky enough to visit the Yellow Cosmos, most of the participants began to look for the whereabouts of the
Gods' Hometown in this universe.
It was said that people could visit the Gods' Hometown as long as they found the gate leading to it.
If they were fortunate enough to find it and eventually fulfill their dream to plant their feet on the sacred and legendary land of
Gods' Hometown, they would have the rare opportunity to earn the appreciation of the divine gods and could bectheir
successor.
If this ctrue, they would becimmortal and be free from the limitations of mortal world forever and live among the mighty
of gods.
They had gotten a glimpse of it through the Divine Realm cultivators in their own worlds. All of them stood high and were powerful
enough to control a universe.
However, it would be a different story if it was the gods themselves that they confronted. In this case, they were just as weak and
insignificant as ants.
Once a cultivator becthe successor of a god, even the imposing masters at Divine Realm would had no choice but to humble
themselves and kneel down before him!
No wonder it was the dream of every cultivator and they would take it as an once-in-a-lifetime, golden opportunity.
Driven by this motivation, all cultivators were busy using their resources and skills trying to find the gate to the Gods' Hometown
which was hidden somewhere in this universe. Each one was hoping to make skind of progress.
However, there always would be exceptions. Austin didn't take part in this hot search. He was obsessed with his own top priority
which had bechis mission. Accompanied by the Heavenly Majestic Pot, Violet and a few other companions, they were trying to
find Earth in this withering universe.
Although the spiritual energy in this universe was exhausted and there were no laws to abide by, the space that it encompassed
was incomparably large.
Filled with one star cluster after another, it stretched in all directions, as far as the eye could see and seemed to never end.
In the first four days, Austin went through these star clusters. However, none of these expeditions yielded anything useful.
There was no trace of life in any of the star clusters that they went to or passed by.
On the fifth day, Austin steered their transport into a vast starry sky. It was even more deserted than the other clusters that they
had previously checked. This mysterious universe was like a withered and unkempt tomb, dry and lifeless. Nothing was there
except eternal cold and darkness.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs they went deeper, there were no more planets nor stars to be seen in the horizon. Only an empty, black screen lay ahead. It
was so dark that it was blinding and the silence was deafening. Austin and his team could hear nothing but the sound of their own
breathing.
There was nothing but a deserted emptiness.
On the eighth day, Austin finally crossed the deserted dark space of the universe. At first they saw tiny and faint flickers of light. As
they continued to move further, the lights started to becclearer and more prominent. Before long, they were staring at the
radiance of a cluster of bright stars with majestic star energy.
"What's this? There's something different about this star cluster."
Austin felt as if his heart was suspended. Something was off.
As he concentrated, he sensed a dense spiritual energy inside the star cluster.
Moreover, Austin found the laws of this star cluster utterly mysterious to him.
With his profound cultivation base on laws and order, Austin failed to figure out what they were here. It was too weird. It was like a
language that nobody spoke or understood.
Austin displayed the Omnipotent Lightness and entered the star cluster without any hesitation. He then found an ideal spot to sit
cross legged in the starry sky, calming down and releasing his spiritual sense to try and learn the laws there.
"Puff!"
Austin spurted out a mouthful of blood a moment later, and his face turned pale.
"It seems tothat there's a very unusual law behind this starry sky. It does not wantto probe any further!"
A creepy feeling ran all over his body. He hurriedly withdrew his spiritual sense and gave up the idea of giving it another try.
Austin immediately practiced the Phoenix Nirvana Skill and his body recovered a short moment later. He sensed shostility
earlier, as if ready to inflict pain and suffering.
"What? Are you kidding me?"
Abruptly, Austin stared straight ahead without batting an eyelash.
"Is this... | can't believe it! Is this the Big Dipper?"
Austin shouted in a trembling voice.
In the vast starry sky in front of him, there were seven stars that were exceptionally bright. Compared to other stars in this galaxy,
their auras were coordinated and connected with one another, as if making a distinct spoon formation.
His heart pounding in his chest, Austin strode forward. He wanted to give it a closer look to see if it was what he had on his mind.
"I can't be wrong. This is the Big Dipper! | can't believe it!" Austin shouted.
He was completely carried away.
Before his fate turned around, Austin had gone to college, received a decent education and received a diploma.
While in college, Austin spent most of his treading, and he read books from a wide variety of fields, including economics,
history, philosophy, astronomy and geography.
Needless to say, he accumulated sufficient knowledge, which helped him many times on different occasions. At this moment,
Austin was sure that the seven big stars in front of him were the constellation known as the Big Dipper.
The Big Dipper played an important role in the progress of human civilization, especially in the ancient times.
Austin's ancestors used to tell which season it was according to where the handle of the Big Dipper pointed.
When it pointed east, it was no doubt spring; when it pointed south, it was summer; when it pointed west, it was autumn; when it
pointed north, it was winter.
Moreover, the Taoism regarded the Big Dipper as disaster repelling divine beings, which lived in the seven palaces on the Big
Dipper. These seven palaces were the seven stars that comprised the prominent constellation.
The Big Dipper Immortals were the divine beings worshiped by the followers of Taoism.
"The Big Digger is very prominent and could clearly be seen from Earth.
Now that I've found the Big Dipper, | am sure that Earth is somewhere not far away from here!"
This discovery today cheered Austin up. He felt his body trembling out of excitement. He couldn't remember the last the felt
like this.
"Wait! I think | missed something. According to the legend of the Taoism, the Big Dipper was the seven stars where the seven
immortals lived. Were there really seven divine gods living on these stars? It could be true.
Since the Yellow Cosmos was one of the places where the divine gods cinto being and existence, it would make sense to think
that way," he murmured to himself.
He was thrilled as the idea flashed in his mind.
"Well, since we are already here, let's make a short side trip to the Big Dipper and see what the stars look like! We can also check if
the legend is true!"
At this moment, Austin was in high spirits with the glee of a toddler.
After all, he had long been fascinated by the ancient stories and theories about the Big Dipper, both from the point of view of
astronomy as well as the metaphysics.
Since the ancients attained great importance to the seven stars, there must be sspecial reasons. Austin couldn't just turn his
back on it and forget all about it.
Without any further hesitation, Austin moved towards the Big Dipper.
A moment later, he got another discovery, which surprised him.
"What? | sense that there is life here! Seriously? Life on this cluster of stars?"
Austin suddenly muttered when he cnear one of the stars.
It was the one by the handle of the Big Dipper.
From a safe distance, Austin could sense vigorous life energy surging up, emitting a hazy glow.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAs part of the constellation, it was just a twinkling little gem, but up close it turned out to be a planet. Austin could faintly see its
extensive terrain, covered with abundant greenery.
He even saw sliving creatures flying at high speed in the sky with beams of light!
All of them seemed strong and well equipped.
This meant that there were living beings on this plwhich had cultivation bases.
This finding shocked Austin greatly. What used to be a mere cluster of stars now turned out to be flourishing worlds.
"Wow, this is just downright unbelievable! Back on the Earth, | had looked at this constellation countless times. | always thought
that the legend about the Big Dipper was made from nothing but folklore and superstitions."
It never occurred to him that there existed living creatures on the seven stars of the Big Dipper. He would bet that no one back on
Earth knew either.
‘These creatures that could fly in the sky and managed to stay hidden were none other than the immortal divine beings that the
mortals on Earth liked to tell stories about!
So, there is really ‘divine gods' in the world!"
Austin was lost in thought.
"Okay, let's go down to have a look!"
He soon calmed down. With the help of his Aura Disguising Skill, he concealed himself perfectly. Then he took a step forward and
launched towards the big star by the handle of the Bigger Dipper. Austin did not know what to feel as he was about to set foot on a
stellar body that he had only read about in books.
This star was called Dubhe!
Whoosh!
In the starry sky, Austin turned into a light dot that swiftly yet unnoticeably fell towards the star. He finally succeeded in landing.
When he landed, he savored the feeling of the vast land under his feet where the ancient forests and towering mountains stood.
Under Austin's command, the Heavenly Majestic Pot and the rest of the team were also transported to this plto join him.
With all his companions, Austin led the way out of the woods with his bodily movement skill, heading toward the nearest cluster of
dwellings.
