Boris uttered while slightly nodding his head after hearing her words. Then his eyes fell on Austin, too. It was as if he was waiting

for Austin to do something.

Under the inspecting eyes of Boris, Austin had no choice but to cforward. He immediately went and gave a courteous

"I'm Austin Lin. It's a great honor to meet you here, Roc King," Austin greeted politely.

He knew that Boris was waiting for him to make a move to meet him, so he did. He instantly flew mid-air, saluting him in the

distance.

"Pretty good! | admire your courage, young man," Boris commented.

He gave Austin an admiring look after uttering his praises.

Austin was just a young man with a low cultivation base. It was really courageous of him to cface to face with the Ji Clan—one

of the three great families of the East Mainland.

"Humph! You are really a snipper-snapper. You are nothing but a low life," one of the senior reclusive elders of the Ji Clan sneered

as he saw Austin's action.

His tone sounded rather cold and bitter.

Seeing this, the warriors who stood by to watch in excitement now gloated.

They considered what Austin did as a bold move. He dared to show up and talk to the Roc King in front of the two senior reclusive

elders of the Ji Clan even though he had already offended their clan earlier.

Hearing those words, the two senior reclusive elders got angry. Their faces contorted as they tried not to show the rage building

Mainland, the outccould be serious. They couldn't afford to risk it.

"Hmm! Well, you better behave yourselves too and stay away from us,"

one of the senior reclusive elders finally said with gritted teeth.

Although he didn't formally proclaimed his agreement, what he said meant that he had already accepted the Flood Dragon King's

demands.

"And, this young man, he is now under the beast race's protection. Don't pick on him anymore.

Otherwise, we are not going to let you get away with it,"

the Flood Dragon King suddenly added as he pointed his finger towards Austin.

Upon hearing his words, the whole place fell on dead silence. Nobody uttered a single word. Everyone present in the crowd were

completely stunned.

What the Flood Dragon King declared made them totally confused.

How could a great master of the beast race publicly declare to protect a mere human young boy?

Even Austin himself couldn't believe what he just heard! He was under the protection of the entire beast race!

As he bellowed the words, it seemed as if the whole sky also shook in rage. Dark clouds appeared in the sky, rolling and roaring.

Lightning streaks flashed through the clouds.

All of a sudden, a giant dark hand stretched out from the dark clouds. Flashes of lightning glinted around the hand, which formed a

mysterious and bizarre picture.

The hand was so big that it covered almost the entire sky, including the sun. The whole world was engulfed in darkness.

With the booming sound, the giant hand gradually advanced towards the Flood Dragon King. It would seem like the hand was

moving very slowly, but it was actually moving really fast.

In a flash, it cabove the head of the Flood Dragon King.

The bystanders that were initially just watching for fun were now petrified. They could even hear their hearts beating fast at the

moment. The air seemed to have been pulled away, making them feel like they were in a vacuum.

Swarriors with poor strength had already gone limp and fell on the ground. Their bodies trembled under the influence of such

tremendous force.

the Flood Dragon King sneered at the senior reclusive elder.

Aggressive waves of demonic energy began to ripple from his body and poured towards the giant hand surrounded by lightning.

"Bang!"

The giant hand, which previously looked menacing, exploded like a bubble when it cinto contact with the overwhelming

demonic energy unleashed by the Flood Dragon King.

the senior reclusive elder couldn't help but exclaim in horror, his voice full of fear.

"Ha-ha! | just want to protect him. Do | need to explain the reason to you?"

the Flood Dragon King bellowed with a laugh, showing a disrespectful attitude towards the two senior reclusive elders.

The other warriors present in the scene stood still, deeply shocked at what they had witnessed.

They could not believe that the Ji Clan would succumb to the threat of the Flood Dragon King so easily and promised not to trouble

Austin.

The two great masters of the beast race both cast a friendly smile on Austin before they left. Anyone who witnessed it would think

that they apparently favored the young man.
