Austin and the queen wanted to apply their bodily movement skill as soon as possible. They hoped that it would help to at least

avoid the impact of the explosion.

But that ball of light was moving faster than they had expected, rushing up to meet them like a bullet. In the blink of an eye, it

reached where both of them were standing and threatened to shatter the whole mountain beneath their feet.

It was quick and formidable. The power it released was overwhelming and bone-crushing. The energy waves that seemed to be

shooting out from its center started to grind the mountain like an invisible huge hand. It was so vigorous in movement that it

seemed like all the things, alive or dead, would turn into ashes in an instant.

Astonished at the sight before their eyes, Austin and the queen found themselves fixed in their spots. They were unable to move at

all. It did not matter how anxious they were to get out of that place.

They were petrified and were left with no chance to escape.

Austin began to sweat. This was a life-or-death situation. As the seconds passed, they were afraid that they would be melt by the

heat even before they got crushed to dust by the pressure. Just then, Austin remembered his City model, the magic space he had

always carried. It cheered him up a bit. He wasn't sure it would work, but he knew that it was their only hope.

Wasting no time, he activated the transporting power of the City model. If he could send the queen and himself into it, there was a

possibility to survive this strong force.

The fact was that he was being too optimistic. To his surprise, the City model did not answer him. The ball of light was drawing

nearer and nearer, but the City model seemed to have malfunctioned, turning into a piece of stone.

That might also be this light's doing! Every corner of the space around them was suppressed by the endless great pressure from

the blinding light. It was then that Austin realized that all the spaces and the tunnels between them were blocked, frozen and

squeezed by the light completely!

It was too late. There was no way that they could travel through those blocked spaces and take shelter in a safe place.

They were doomed!

Austin looked up at the dazzling light with a helpless sigh, even the queen could hear him. So was it the end? Desperateness and

dejection loomed in his heart, yet he tried not to let it show. He felt vulnerable.

Sensing the despair in the man beside her, the queen fell into deeper misery instantly. Her face suddenly softened. She turned

around to look at him.

Then, she did something that was beyond Austin's expectation. Something that she couldn't stop herself from doing.

She wrapped her arms around his waist, like a gentle and innocent girl who was terrified by the situation at hand.

"If we have to die and if this is the end of the world, | would rather die in your arms," she whispered in a soft voice. Her words were

soft but precise.

Austin looked down at her face. The queen's cheeks still had a bright pink hue, even in this dreadful situation. It looked like that

she was having a fever, but Austin knew that it was because of the heat she gave out from her body, which was filled with strong

energy. And it was beautiful.

Tseemed to have slowed down as he felt her hug. The moment seemed eternal. He inhaled the strange and enchanting

perfthat reached his nose as it emanated from her body--her warm and soft body. She was now embracing him like a snake of

fire, making his heart thump. Suddenly, he felt as if danger never existed. He closed his eyes to enjoy the moment, forgetting

about everything.

Hardly had a second or two passed when Austin opened his eyes.

Something struck him when he was sinking into her love. It suddenly gave him courage to tackle the distressing situation.

The Fire Stela! He remembered he still had the Fire Stela!

Probably those would be the last moments of his life when the memory of this treasure that he had kept in his elixir field occurred

to him.

Ever since it had got in there, it sat quietly in his elixir field like a seed quietly spreading its roots in the soil.

Austin often forgot about it, since he usually failed in using it or communicating with it.

However, it had saved him twice. He couldn't explain it, but the Fire Stela seemed to act by itself. It usually cto his rescue

whenever he faced life-or-death moments.

Now, it was one such moment, and Austin thought of this savior of his.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, Austin unleashed his spiritual sense and tried to make connection with the Fire Stela.

He tried his best to tell the Fire Stela that he needed its help, and that he wanted to survive!

Whoosh!

On this occasion, the Fire Stela didn't keep him waiting. It was such a pleasant surprise that the treasure had answered Austin's call

almost instantly with its buzz.

In a split second, the Fire Stela appeared above Austin's head. It was so quick that Austin had barely realized its presence. It got

out from his body like a shooting star with amazing high speed and turned into a golden light ball the moment it touched the air. It

looked like Austin had brought a bright sun from within himself, whose radiance overshadowed the deadly ball of light above the

mountain.

Boom!

Soon, the Fire Stela met the dazzling light, like the sun crashing into Venus. The collision produced scorching heat and fierce shock

waves that lashed out against everything around them like tides.

Austin found his ears ringing badly. Covering their heads with one of his arm, he could feel that the mountain below was shaking. It

started collapsing, reduced to dust by the energy of the blast. It was a gigantic mountain of several hundred meters tall, yet it had

been razed to the ground in less than a second. Austin gasped at the scene. This was how they would have ended up if the Fire

Stela hadn't worked.

Fortunately it did work. The ball of light was swallowed by the light of the Fire Stela, the mountain was gone. But Austin was

covered by the golden light bubble of the powerful treasure, safe and sound.

Even the queen was unscathed since she had been hugging Austin tightly and got protected by the Fire Stela, too.

In the end, when all the sound died away, Austin and the queen were floating above the place where the mountain once stood,

embracing each other.

They were holding each other tight like a couple madly in love.

And when they realized that they had narrowly escaped a close call, they exchanged delightful looks, smiling brightly as their eyes

met. There was the exultant joy of survival.

Just then, the queen's smile froze.

It was at that moment that she cback to her senses. She realized that she was hugging Austin in the most loving and caring

way!

She had always been a demure and serious woman, who seldom showed her affection to others. In fact, she couldn't believe that

she had totally lost control of herself and acted so brazenly and got so close to a man! It could be said that she had lost herself

completely in the face of death, allowing herself to do anything that cto her mind.
