Teleportation was a form of spatial power. Among the people who had such skill, the gnome's was the most profound, for it was his

race's special gift.

"Study this and see if you can find a way out,"

Austin told the gnome, looking forward to seeing what he could do.

Without wasting any time, the gnbegan to study the space above the altar.

Austin, Violet, Nathan, and the Sect Supremo had all tried to their best to make something out of the thing above the altar, but

they really couldn't understand it.

Annoyed, they all stepped aside and let the gndo what he needed to do.

With the gnconcentrating on the task given to him, they all fell silent, hoping that he would be able to help them in this

situation.

Austin took out a jade slip from his Space Ring a few minutes after the gnstarted working. On it was a method called the "Fire

Formula".

This jade slip had existed for thousands of years now, and it had been handed down from generation to generation within the Fire

Worshiping Sect. Nathan gave it to him.

Looking through what the slip had to offer, Austin becmost interested in how to control the Unearthly Fire.

It was mainly about how to incorporate the Unearthly Fire into one's own vital energy attack, take advantage of its incredible

power, and turn it into a move that would easily destroy an enemy.

Austin had three kinds of Unearthly Fires on him, and for the longest time, he mainly used them for alchemy. In scases, he was

able to use its Scorching Power, but nothing more than that.

Why? Because he didn't have the ability to control them. His knowledge was immensely insufficient, and he was afraid to unleash

something he could not control if he accidentally misused their powers.

That was why he becoverjoyed when Nathan gifted him the jade slip of the different fire formulas. As soon as he got it, he

immediately wanted to learn it and to practice how to control the Unearthly Fires that he had.

Since he had nothing else to do, Austin decided to practice.

Also, as per what the gnsaid, even if the entrance to the small alternate dimension was rally above the altar, the spatial

teleportation power was mysterious and unpredictable, making it extremely impenetrable.

So even if the location of the entrance was known, it was not easy to find it.

The gneven said it would be impossible for him to work out the details in a day or two.

With that, Austin held the jade slip in his hands and used his spiritual sense to look into it. He read the method of how to control

and use the Unearthly Fire until he had thoroughly memorized it by heart. After he made sure that he was ready, he put the slip

back into his Space Ring.

When he had everything in place, he began to practice how to use the Unearthly Fire.

The first step in his training was to re-perceive and communicate with the fire.

To do that, he decided to take the Scorching Evil Fire to the test as

it was the first Unearthly Fire he had subdued. He was the most familiar with it and was the most skillful in using it.

Soon, he started using his spiritual sense to communicate with and perceive the said fire in his body to be able to fully understand

it.

'Well, this shouldn't be that hard, ' he thought, breathing deeply.

As this was happening, the people he was with -- Nathan, the Sect Supremo, and Violet -- were also busy practicing someplace else

inside the valley.

Ever since Austin bectheir leader, they quickly adopted his ways. As Austin was constantly practicing and improving himself in

his spare time, they, too, had becobsessed with making sure that they use their spare tdoing things that would better

their skills.

The gnwas then left by the altar, perceiving the spatial teleportation power above it with his teleportation ability.

Suddenly, grey shadows appeared around the valley.

"Look, the humans have cto this valley.

What should we do?" one of the shadows said to his companions.

"The queen has already told us not to give these humans a hard time," the other person said quietly.

"But this valley is an extremely important part of our tribe and it cannot be invaded by outside forces," he continued, his voice

getting more strained.

"I think it would be better if we just go back and report to this to the queen. We could ask her to decide what to do with these

human beings," another shadow suggested.

These shadows had a hard tlocating where Austin and his crew went after they escaped.

The Dragon and Phoenix Chariot Austin used was incredibly fast, and none of them was able to follow it immediately.

They didn't even see it coming into the valley!

It was only when Austin and others stepped out of the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot that they were able to sense where they were.

After a few more discussion and back and forth, the grey shadows hurried back to the queen's palace to report what had

happened.

"Oh?

They have been in that valley?

It looks like they're looking for a way out," said the queen emotionlessly when she heard the news.

With her sitting on her throne exuding power, elegance, and beauty, it was hard to decipher what she was thinking.

"Priest, how strong is the sealed power above the altar?"

she suddenly asked the old man near her. She now looked annoyed.

The said priest, who was dressed in a flowing gray robe and had deep wrinkles on his face, furrowed his thick eyebrows.

It was evident that he was forming his answer carefully to satiate the questioning queen.

After a while, his eyes widened, as if he finally was able to figure out what he was going to answer to his queen. Slowly, he started

saying, "Your Majesty, | believe that the sealed power above the altar has weakened over the years. Give or take, it is currently

only at 20%.

But then again, even with such a small amount left, it would still be incredibly difficult for anyone to figure out, let alone get

through." He eyes were now meeting the queen's gaze.

"Truly, no one would be able to break that seal. Not then, not now.

It will take us at least a hundred years -- two hundred, even -- to open that sealed power and leave the small alternate dimension,"

he concluded.

"One or two hundred years?

Our tribe has been trapped in this small alternate dimension for a thousand years,"

sighed the queen, sad and downcast over hearing the priest's words.

"But, Your Majesty, if we can find someone with the special power to assist us, perhaps, we can leave the small alternate dimension

way sooner,"

the priest said reassuringly.

"Oh, Priest, | know the special power you are talking about.

| have searched for that all over the small alternate dimension but there is just... no one. No one has such a positive attribute

energy that is strong enough to crack the seal.

It seems that we will have to stay here in the small alternate dimension for another one or two hundred years,"

the queen sadly said.

"You are right, Your Majesty.

The humans who had broken into the valley must have been looking for a way out.

Letgo to them, lest they unintentionally destroy the teleportation port above the altar,"

the priest said. A group of disciples quickly gathered around him and they immediately headed to the valley where Austin and the

others were.

Meanwhile, Austin was already improving his control over the Scorching Evil Fire.

He tried stretching out his right arm and slowly, the Scorching Evil Fire cout of his palm.

"Change!"

Austin ordered it authoritatively.
