Gregory raised his hand to strike Paisley but stopped short when two bodyguards blocked his way. Although he
didn't lash out physically, his rage didn't subside. He glared at Paisley, as if he wanted to tear her apart.
"Tassley! You despicable brat! Do you just want to ruin our entire family?" Christina shouted in hatred. Not only
had Paisley destroyed their chance at a marital alliance with the Jackman family, but she had also humiliated
them in front of everyone. Most importantly, she had ruined all their careful plans to impress Dominick. What
would Dominick think when he returned to see this mess? Would it tarnish Britany's image in his eyes?
As these thoughts consumed her, Christina's hatred for Paisley grew "Why did you cback! Why didn't you
just die out there?"

The swords again. In the past, hearing this would have torn Paisley apart. But now, she was utterly
indifferent.
"Die! If anyone should die, it's you people! Paisley will live long just to spite you all Lucy interjected, speaking on
Paisley's behalf with cutting
"You miserable old hag! You ignore your own daughter and cherish that adopted bitch like she's a treasure. You're
pathetic! You love picking up what others throw away. You're trash! The worst trash! You and your little bitch of a
daughter deserve to die together!" Lucy continued her verbal onslaught, sparing no one. Both Christina and
Brittany were left speechless, their faces turning ashen with rage.
"Y-You- Christina stammered, trembling as she pointed at Paisley, her face pale as if she might faint.
"What' Old hag' Is your mother dead?" Lucy shot back mercilessly, completely unbothered. After all, Paisley had
told her to let loose, and she
would handle the aftermath. Paisley nodded approvingly. Lucy's ability to unleash verbal chaos was as strong as

You ungrateful child Gregory shouted again, his voice shaking with fury. "Get out From now on, you are no longer
my daughter!"
Paisley smirked. "You've said that before, years ago. | guess old age has caught up to you You can't even
remember your own words."
"Get out! Get out now!" Gregory roared, his face flushed with rage, veins bulging on his neck.
Paisley's expression remained cold. If the Sullivan family wanted to disgust her, she'd return the favor tenfold.
Now that her goal had been achieved, she had no intention of lingering.
"Ms. Vaire?" Just as she turned to leave, a familiar voice called out. On the other side, Gary had been racking his
brain about how to get Nion to show up, but he never expected her to appear right before him. Paisley froze,

"Gary? What are you doing here?"
Gary, still shaken from the earlier confrontation, took a moment to find his voice, When he did, he pointed at
Brittany.
"She made us come. His voice trembled slightly. He had seen a lot in his life, but this situation had genuinely
rattled him. What shocked him the most was discovering Paisley's connection to the Sullivan family. From the
fragments of conversation earlier, he'd pieced everything together. No wonder Nion had always been so resistant
to Brittany. Now it all made scose.
Moreover, he was appalled at how vile the Sullivan family was. He had inwardly criticized them before for trying
to pair their daughter with someone as revolting as Haron. Little did he know their daughter was Nion. Now,
seeing how Paisley had outmaneuvered the Sullivan family, he felt relieved. Had she not been prepared, the
outccould have been catastrophic.
On the other side, Gary's exchange with Paisley struck Brittany like a thunderclap, leaving her momentarily
stunned.
