Chapter 2801
In James' opinion, he needed to at least cross into the Divine Rank to be considered a powerful figure. All living
beings beneath the Divine Rank were considered insignificant creatures.
Now, his strength was limited, and he had never interacted with a cultivator at the Divine Rank. As such, he had no
idea how powerful they would be.
After thinking for a moment, James stood up and walked out of the Time Formation.
The power of the Elixir of Nine Deaths had already been absorbed, and all remaining power was concealed inside
his body. Next time when his life was in peril once more, the power of the elixir would be activated.
After consuming the Elixir of Nine Deaths, James now had some sort of protection. He had obtained enormous
benefits from the closed-door meditation, and his rank and power had increased drastically. If he were to face off
against Milo of the Primordial Ape Race, he would surely be able to defeat him this time.
Once he left the Time Formation, he headed straight toward the war god’s palace. In a dilapidated palace, he found

"How did it go? Did you get anything?"
Hearing a commotion, everyone turned around. They froze when they saw James.
Brielle said, "I thought you were in a closed-door meditation. It's only been a day."
Wearing a grim expression, James said, "I entered a closed- door meditation in a Time Formation. If not for the
Elixir of Nine Deaths, I'd have already been killed."
Hearing this, Maxine could not help but ask, "What do you mean? What happened?"
James narrated the chain of events that unfolded.
Hearing this, Brielle said smilingly, "See? I was right to offer you the elixir. You owe me your life."
"Fine, fine..." James shrugged and said, "I guess I owe you one now."
Qusai looked at the two. To him, James and Brielle's relationship was different from before.
He smiled and said, "Thank goodness everything was alright. In my opinion, you should die a few more times. That
way, your strength will rise rapidly. Each time you die, you might obtain a providence, and your strength would
increase by two stages. If you die nine times, you will reach the Sage Rank's Twentieth Stage."
James rolled his eyes and paid no heed to Qusai. He did not wish to die in exchange for increasing his strength.
After all, the Elixir of Nine Deaths was merely insurance.
He shifted the topic and asked, "What about you guys? Did you find anything?"
Maxine shook her head and said, "We found nothing. Perhaps too much time has passed, and most of the items
inside the palace have corroded with time."
Pensive, James said, "Perhaps the providence described by the Door God is the Elixir of Nine Deaths... I have a
feeling that there's a providence inside the palace somewhere that we haven’t found yet."
Brielle said, "Let's continue searching, then."
Then, they continued searching the place. However, after scrutinizing every nook and cranny of the palace, they
could not find anything that was useful. It appeared that the providence the Door God was referring to was the
Elixir of Nine Deaths.
Unable to find anything else, they turned to leave.

many living beings entered the ruins of the Ancient Heavenly Court. However, up until now, James had only
encountered Milo.
After leaving the ruins of the War God Palace, they entered an abandoned city. This city was huge, and the buildings
there were magnificent. Though many had collapsed and completely reduced to rubble, one could discern the
grandeur of the city just by observing the ruins.
As they arrived at the city gate, they immediately sensed many different auras.
James stopped and said, "There are living beings in this area. Be on your guard."
Qusai said nonchalantly, "Since Milo already knew about the War Order, the other living beings must have known
about this as well. In my opinion, since we have lost a War Order, we should seize the others’ War Orders."
Brielle nodded and said, "I agree. Seizing their belongings is much more convenient than having to search by
ourselves."
James grinned and said, "I share the same opinion."
James would not play fair and square against these Foreigners. He would steal their belongings by any means
necessary.
