Chapter 283
Jimmy, who was standing guard at the door, cussed at Yolanda coldly. "What nonsense are you up to right now?
What did you think you were going to do out there? Die?"
The two young men by Jimmy's side looked at Yolanda scornfully.
"You're just an underage kid. If you go out there, they don't even need to spend tsharpening their knives.
They could finish you off right there and then!"
Yolanda frowned with displeasure. She was about to say something back when Brigham responded.
"Don't worry, Yolanda. Jimmy and the rest are highly skilled. It would be as easy as ABC for them to deal with
those assassins."
"I'm 100% confident that | can bring all of you out safely," Jimmy said, puffing up with confidence.
At the stime, he was also a little unhappy that Nigel held a puny doctor like Yolanda in such high regard.

He rolled his eyes haughtily at Yolanda and said, "Don't just act on your own judgment, burdensbrat."
"Black Widow's tactics are vicious. Her right and left-hand man are no saints as well."
To Yolanda, these people were nothing, but Jimmy and his junior brothers, who had no actual combat experience,
would not be able to handle fighting against them.
Yolanda had advised them out of the kindness of her heart, but it was clear that Jimmy was too arrogant for that.
He thought he was all-powerful, so he didn't care what Yolanda said.
"Hah! Mere child's play like this can only scare amateurs like you.
"I'll go out and take care of all these people outside. Then, I'll bring all of you out."
Before Yolanda could say anything, Jimmy pulled the door open and led the rest of Eternal Clan's members out in
a rush.
Brigham watched them leave and immediately stood guard at the door. "Don't worry, Yolanda, | believe in
Jimmy's capabilities," Brigham comforted.
On the other end, after Jimmy had led his men out, he gave a loud hark before making a beeline for Black Widow.
Jimmy had won prizes in various Havarian competitions, so he felt his pride was justifiable. If he had to choose
an opponent, it could only be Black Widow, who was the strongest of them all.
If he could defeat Black Widow, he would have chopped the head of the snake. By then, all the other assassins
would have to admit defeat.
Sadly, Jimmy forgot that in martial competitions, the contestants merely competed with forms and techniques
and stopped once they gained a point.
The assassins he was facing were not martial school students. They were killers who lived on the edge of danger.
They had to kill others to survive. They were true, ruthless criminals.
Jimmy was quite capable. He had easily taken care of the assassins who got in the way. When he finally faced
Black Widow, he roared, "Surrender now!"
Since all he could think of at that moment was to defeat Black Widow as quickly as possible so he could escort
Nigel and the rest out, he didn't care to be a gentleman to his opponent.
He flashed out his prized sword and performed his killer act immediately.
Alas, as a core member of the Serpent Alliance, Black Widow was more skillful in approach and technique than
Jimmy was. If combat experience cinto play, Black Widow could diminish Jimmy in a split second.
In less than five rounds, Black Widow had stabbed Jimmy in the chest with a knife and kicked him aside.
Other members of the Eternal Clan were fighting closely with the other assassins at that time. However, when
they realized that Jimmy was injured, they didn't care about fighting their way out anymore. They dragged Jimmy
as best as they could as they retreated back to the storage room.
"Jimmy, are you okay?"
Brigham was waiting for Jimmy to deliver the good news, but he didn't expect to see Jimmy being carried back
by someone else.
He saw Jimmy holding his chest and reached out subconsciously to touch it, only to find his hand sticky with
blood.
"Hang in there, Jimmy!"
Brigham saw his blood-covered hand, and he felt his heart sink.
"Please save him, Yolanda! He can't hold on for much longer," Brigham begged.
