Chapter 4128

Wellis was the leader, but he said nothing and merely stood behind Jack quietly.

The two figures were incredibly quick.

When they got closer, Jack could finally see what they actually looked like.

They had dark green robes on, and the one on the left was wearing a green mask while the one on the right was

wearing a blue one. The two hid their faces, but it was obvious from the way they acted that they were not evil

beasts. They were participants as well.

Once they realized that the two figures were humans, everyone breathed a sigh of relief except Jack and Wellis.

Even though there were weaker and stronger evil beasts, the evil beasts they met earlier had all been strong.

"Who are you two?" Jack asked coldly.

The man in the green mask put up two fingers as he said to the crowd, "I'll give you all two choices! The first is to

leave Wellis behind and go your separate ways, the second is for all of you to stay behind!"

Everyone was stunned when they heard that. It was as if they had just gotten out of the frying pan to leap right into

the fire.

They had thought that there would be no trouble since those two were humans. After all, killing humans would not

earn any Evil Badges here, so there was less killing between warriors.

Wellis' lips trembled before he suddenly raised his voice and said, "You're Desmond's subordinates!"

He spoke with a firm tone, and there was a lot of hatred in his voice. It was obvious that those two did not have any

good intentions for him.

The man in the green mask was taken aback.

His eyes glared right at Wellis, "What makes you think that?"

He did not deny it, but his tone became much colder.

Wellis already realized how serious the matter was.

His hands trembled, "I've seen you before! I remember your voice. However, people like you usually look down on

people like us. You probably don't remember me at all."

The others started to get anxious. They did not know what to say with how quickly things were progressing.

Morul asked loudly, "Wellis, did you offend Desmond?"

Wellis shook his head as he said with a bitter smile, "Just think about our different positions. How could I possibly

dare to offend him?! I've never even met him!"

"Then what's this?" Morul had a confused look on his face.

Ishak suddenly said, "Could it be for the Evil Badges?"

The moment he said that, he immediately covered his mouth in regret. He cursed himself for trying to look smart.

He should have just kept it to himself.

The others immediately realized that it could very well be for the Evil Badges after they heard Ishak. After all,

everyone knew that Wellis had earned a lot from leading teams, and had at least thirty Evil Badges with him.

Those two were robbing him!

Wellis took a deep breath and clenched his teeth, "The two of you think you can beat all of us? Aren't you

overconfident?!"
