Chapter 351
However, he discovered that the doctor who delivered Freya had disappeared after Connor conducted an
investigation. Today, they finally located the doctor, who revealed the truth.
Freya wasn’t in premature labor at all. She gave birth on the exact day she was supposed to!
Radley quickly calculated the timeline and understood. It turned out that the child Freya was carrying was his!
Filled with excitement, he rushed to find Freya. Along the way, he received a lead about Jolly.
Someone had spotted several unfamiliar men near Emerald Dock. These men drove into the abandoned dock, and
some people faintly heard a child crying.
Recently, several families and the police have been conducting rigorous investigations in Caltun, and Emerald Dock
was a location that no one had considered.
Radley sensed something was amiss and hurried to Emerald Dock with his men. At the same time, Freya

Trey, regardless of the circumstances, Jolly is nu child, I will save him, so don’t worry!”
She wanted to say something else la suddenly felt a slip pain at the back of her neck.
She looked at Radley in disbelief
Radley picked the limp Freya up and walked toward the exit
He discarded the syringe in his hand, his face filled with deep affection and guilt.
I knew I might need this before coming here, but I never anticipated having to use it on you, Frey, Please forgive
me this time.”
This would be the last time, perhaps.
Holding Freya in his arms, Radley approached the window on the other side and called for Connor. He handed her
to Connor and turned back joward the building
Several individuals following him immediately moved forward to join him.
Radley turned his head and said, “Stay here. There’s a mb nearby. Retreat a hundred meters!”
“Mr. Monaghan, we’ll go with you!” a few people shout fearlessly.
“Stay!” Radley’s voice was resolute, his gaze cold and stern.
These people had been with him for many years. Knowing that there was a bomb in the building, he didn’t want
them to follow him and take unnecessary risks.
Radley looked at Connor, who tightly held Freya in his arms. Freya stared at him with wide eyes. “Connor, take good
care of her!”
Connor’s hand clenched tightly. He wanted to go in instead of Mr. Monaghan, but Mr. Monaghan had made up his
mind.
He also knew that Miss Kaufmann in his arms was someone Mr. Monaghan valued more than his own life. Although
Freya was injected with a sedative, she remained conscious.
She helplessly watched as Radley walked toward the deserted building in the moonlight, his figure gradually

Freya moved her lips, overwhelmed by a sense of panic She desperately grabbed onto Connor’s clothes. “Connor!
Stop him!”
He lowered his head and clenched his teeth. “Miss Kaufmann, Mr. Monaghan will surely come out safely!” Radley
had been inside for more than ten minutes.
Each second felt like an eternity. Freya’s heart felt squeezed by an invisible hand, making it difficult for her to
breathe.
After an unknown period, someone exclaimed in surprise!
Freya’s eyes lit up as she looked toward the window from which Radley had emerged. He was holding a cardboard
box as he appeared from the abandoned house.
He was about to lift his leg and jump out of the window.
Jolly was saved! Radley had also made it out!
Freya’s face brightened, tears still glistening on her cheeks. She looked pitiful as she cried and smiled under the
light.
On the other side, Radley also glanced over.
Just as Freya was about to speak, her phone in her pocket vibrated, and a sense of unease washed over her.
”
The phone vibrated as if to interrupt the wonderful moment..
Boom! The next moment, a deafening explosion reverberated through the surroundings, causing the ground to
shake and dust to rise from the ground!
The golden flames of the explosion were reflected in Preya’s pupils.
The explosions weren’t over, though Before the first sound of the explosion faded away, a series of violent
explosions rang out one after another, leaving her cars ringing and her mind blank. As debris from the blown-up
abandoned buildings came surging toward them, Connor immediately turned around with her in his arms, shielding
her with his own body, Still, a small piece of rubble grazed her cheek, and she stared wide-eyed as the building
turned into rubble amid the explosions
Her voice trembling, she cried out, “Radley!” She wanted to race toward the rubble, but she didn’t have an ounce
of strength.
Connor’s eyes also turned red with shock. After shielding Freya from the shock waves of the explosions, he turned
around and tried to rush toward the ruins. “Mr. Monaghan!” he cried out before placing her in a nearby chair. “Wait
for me, Miss Kaufmann!”
Everyone rushed forward and began searching for Radley,
Freya wanted to join them, but she didn’t have the strength to do so because of the drug’s effects. Mustering up all
her strength, she finally fell from the chair and hit the ground on all fours. I have to find my son! She tried to claw
her way toward the building. Both Radley and her son were buried under that pile of rubble!
After she crawled a couple of steps, her phone fell out of her pocket. She picked it up and glanced at it. The text
message read, ‘Did you enjoy the beautiful fireworks?
Gritting her teeth, she looked up at the abandoned buildings around her under the night sky. Many of them had no
windows left, making it look as if they were staring at her with pitch-black eyes. She screamed, “I’ll find you and kill
you!”
The entire back of Connor’s shirt was torn to shreds by the debris from the explosions, and his back was reduced to
a bloody mess. However, his expression remained unchanged as he continued digging through the ruins where
Radley had just emerged.
Gradually, everyone fell into despair. “There’s no way people could survive that level of explosion just
now”
Someone might have mumbled those words under their breath.
Freya was lying on all fours on the ground when two people who came back to get something to drink spotted her
and helped her up. “Miss Kaufmann, you’d better wait in the car
Freya’s eyes widened as a low, hoarse growl escaped her throat “Radley-
Tears kept falling from her eyes as regret filled her chest, the final smile Radley gave her while holding Jovius
flashed before her eyes. In an instant, all the grudges she had been holding over the past two years shattered like a
suddenly broken layer of ice. In the face of life and death, she could no longer care about dignity or pride…
She cried so hard that she almost had trouble catching her breath She had been holding in her emotions

for so long ever since Jovius went missing, but now, she couldn’t hold them in any longer. I’m sorry, Radley. I’m
sorry, Jolly; I failed to protect you as your mother…
Just then, about a dozen cars arrived at Emerald Dock, and Braxton jumped out of one of them. As he ran closer,
he was also taken aback to see the ruins from the explosions, but someone soon led him to Freya. “Frey!” He was
finally relieved upon seeing that Freya was safe and sound.
The next moment, however, his heart sank. Freya was tearfully crying, “Jolly! Radley…”
What happened to Radley? His gaze turned toward the nearby ruins from the explosions and then toward Connor,
who was still digging through the rubble despite his bloody hands. His heart shuddered, and without hesitation, he
immediately ordered the men who had come with him to help them.
Shortly after Braxton arrived, Matthew also arrived at the scene, whereas Chris and Mikael arrived half an hour
later along with the police. Police surrounded the area, but everyone fell into utter despair when half of the debris
was removed. A bad thought started to well up in some people’s minds. Perhaps they were already blown to
pieces…
Finally, Freya couldn’t take it anymore, and she fainted as everything went black before her eyes.
The scene was chaotic. Chris and Mikael rushed forward and cleared the debris with grim expressions, while Connor
looked as though he had gone crazy and was forcibly dragged away. On the other hand, the police directed the
men to continue clearing the debris.
Freya’s eyes widened when she found herself in an unknown place enveloped in a misty white fog. She tried to
drive the fog away, only for it to become thicker. In her heart, she had a feeling of weightlessness. She seemed to
see two figures in the white fog, who were none other than Radley and Jovius!
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJolly had somehow turned into a three or four-year-old. He held Radley’s hand and smiled at her, saying, “Mommy,
I’m leaving with Dad.”
Where is Jolly going? Freya’s heart skipped a beat, and the scene of the explosion flashed across her mind.
Dumbstruck, she stared at the pair with her mouth open. No, you can’t go! She wanted to cry out but couldn’t. She
clenched her fists, watching as Radley smiled tenderly at her. Her face was covered in tears. I’m sorry, Radley. I
minded too much before. I have always loved you; we even have a son. And yet, I was always obsessing over the
past! She wished she could say this but couldn’t find her voice.
It was true that Radley was at fault, but he had already made amends by risking his life several times to save her.
This time, he even went to save Jolly.
She wanted to say she had forgiven him and asked him to come back, but he began fading into the distance. The
dense white fog became thicker and thicker until she couldn’t see Radley and Jovius
anymore…
A wave of shudders ran down her spine….
“Radley!” She sat up all of a sudden, staring at the pale wall before her, sweat dripping from her forehead. Her
mind was confused as she looked around.
Her mother’s anxious voice seemed to be coming from outer space. “Frey, what’s wrong with you?”
Freya took a deep breath and turned to look at Sylvia. I was only dreaming just now! She had yet to know the
outcome of the search and rescue. “Mom, where are Radley and Jolly?!”

Sylvia quickly reassured her, saying. “Don’t worry. They’re both…” She paused for a moment before continuing.
“Their conditions aren’t life-threatening.”
That pause made Freya’s heart sink. She quickly asked, “What happened to them? Mom, are you lying to me? Are
they already-”
Sylvia shook her head quickly. “No, I’m not lying to you, really. They are just injured and are receiving medical
treatment.” She removed the IV needle from her hand and staggered, attempting to get out of bed to see for
herself.
However, Sylvia stopped her. “Dr. Griffiths came to check on you just now. You’re physically weak right now, so you
must stay in bed and rest.”
“I can’t rest until I see Jolly.” Freya got up again, wanting to get out of bed.
Just then, the door to the ward swung open, and Braxton strode in. Seeing her attempting to get out of bed, he
asked flatly. “Where do you think you’re going?”
Freya was searching for her slippers. She replied, “I’m going to check on Jolly.”
Braxton stepped forward and held her down. “Freya Kaufmann, do you take me as your brother?!” He usually
called her Frey; this was the first time he had called her by her full name.
Freya trembled slightly and looked up at him.
Braxton took a deep breath, his eyes ablaze with anger. Since you already found out where Jolly was, why didn’t
you ask me to go with you? Aren’t we a family? Why did you have to head into danger alone? How are Mom and I
supposed to live if anything happens to you?”
Freya fell silent. Her voice barely audible, she apologized, “I’m sorry, Brax.”
