After Maria fell asleep, Lumma took out her personal mobile phone, and when she turned it on, she received

Lumma walked out of the ward and called him back. As soon as Arty answered, she heard his annoyed voice. “Ms.
Louis, what are you up to?”
Lumma took a deep breath, calmed down, and said, “Mr. Bloom, please tell Mr. Bergman that I can’t get a divorce
for the time being.”
Arty yelled angrily, “Ms. Louis, you can’t break your promise. You signed the divorce agreement and agreed to go
to City Hall today. Why do you go back on your word?”
Lumma said, “I just want to postpone it.”
Arty asked, “Why?”

Lumma was very displeased with his arrogant and sarcastic tone. “We didn’t get
married because of love. What does it matter if I love him or not?”
Arty was irritated by her again. “Just tell me how much money you want before you are willing to divorce.”
“I don’t want his money!” For the first time, Lumma felt that it was so difficult to communicate with a lawyer, so she
hung up the phone angrily.

without feeling guilty at all. She agreed to go to City Hall today but she lied that her grandma was sick and she
wanted to postpone the divorce. But don’t worry. This time I will let her divorce you no matter what…”
Adam raised his eyebrows. “Her grandma is sick?”
Arty replied, “That’s what she said.”
Adam knew that Catherine and Maria were friends and that he and Lumma got marrie for them. He didn’t think
Maria would lie about her grandmother even though she wa
inconstant.
He said, “Transfer a sum of money to her and tell her to treat her grandma with peace mind. We can wait for her
grandma to get better before we divorce.
