Harper blinked, her face pale from lack of sleep. She hesitated, then asked, "You wantto bring them to the hospital?" "Yes, bring them here," Benjamin confirmed.
"I don't really know Ms. Davis. Wouldn't she be uncomfortable withseeing her like this?" Harper questioned. "She'll be fine with it. Just bring them as soon as you can, okay?" Benjamin urged.
Harper bit her lip, her heart aching. She told herself this would be the last tshe'd do something she didn't want to for him.
With an indifferent expression, she calmly replied, "I'll be there in an hour." Afterward, Harper immediately ended the call before Benjamin could respond.
