Ivy froze when she heard that voice. A chill ran down her spine and her heart jumped to her throat.

She glanced at the crowd, wondering if she was hearing voices.

Did Lora cback to haunt her as a ghost? Soon, a woman emerged from the crowd. She looked hot, wearing a red sequin off-the-shoulder gown with a highslit.

The woman was the epitof beauty. She turned heads wherever she passed... She looked so graceful and elegant and her presence commanded the hall's attention.

Everyone watched as she gracefully made her way up the stage and Ryan was quick to approach her. He smiled before holding her hand and bringing it to his lips, placing a soft kiss on her fair hand. "You're just on tfor the show," Ryan remarked, a smirk playing on his lips.

The woman smiled and replied, "I couldn't miss it for anything in the world." At the stime, Ivy's jaw had dropped to the floor. She glanced at the woman with wide eyes, unable to believe what she was seeing.

"N-No... it... it can't be! You're dead! I made sure of it!" Ivy yelled, grabbing her head in denial. This bitch had died... she had seen the warehouse go up in flames herself! "Lora Davis, how are you still alive?" Ivy questioned, glaring at Lora.

Lora turned to look at Ivy, a smirk playing on her lips. She replied, "Surprised? Did you think you had won because you trappedin a warehouse and set the place on fire to kill me?" Gasps echoed around the hall. Ivy tried to kill Lora? Everyone was shocked that Ivy was that type of person. She always seemed like a kind person.

Ivy clenched her hands into fists and glared at Lora with unmasked hatred. She spat, "I hate you so much, Larisa, Lora or whatever you call yourself! Ryan was only supposed to love me... but you cin and stole him from me. You married him and that's the cryou committed... the only way you could pay for your crimes was to die! Why couldn't you stay dead? I killed you twice and you're still alive!" Another round of gasps echoed through the hall as the audience put two and two together. So, Lora Davis was Ryan's ex-wife, Larisa? No wonder Ryan seemed to be interested in her the moment she returned to the country... they had history together.

What was even more shocking was that Ivy had tried to kill Lora twice. She was a cold-blooded murderer! Lora scoffed. She looked at Ivy and questioned, "Ivy, do you even love Ryan? I doubt you do... you're just selfish. You didn't love him and that's why you left the city... did you cback because things didn't work out for you?" Anger flashed through Ivy's eyes. Lora had hit the nail on the head. Many years ago, Ivy wanted to advance in her career, so she wanted to go abroad. At that time, she was still dating Ryan. However, it wasn't known whether Ryan would inherit the company, or his father would take over as CEO and Ivy wasn't patient enough to see what would happen.

An opportunity presented itself and Ivy went abroad with the guise of treating her legs. However, she got stuck with her design career and decided to return and get Ryan back after she heard that he had taken over as CEO and the company was thriving.

It was too late though since Ryan was already married to Larisa. This was why Ivy did everything she could to get rid of Larisa...

Ivy glared at Lora and yelled, "Shut up! Who are you to judge me? I left but so what? I still cback to claim what was mine. You stole him from me... you're a homewrecker!" Lora rolled her eyes. She remarked, "The homewrecker is the one who cbetween a married couple. I never did anything to you and I was willing to leave Ryan to let you two be together, did you have to kill me?" Ivy laughed like a maniac. She replied, "Yes! I had to kill you to erase you from Ryan's life forever! Only then could he fully be mine." "You're sick," Lora remarked, shaking her head. "I feel sorry for you." Ryan stepped in. He glanced at Lora and said, "Hey, don't waste your twith the likes of her. No matter what you say, she won't understand. She's too far gone." Lora nodded, sighing. She replied, "You're right... let's get this over and done with." Looking at Ivy, she stated, "Ivy, this is the place where you will meet your downfall. We have evidence of all your crimes and the law will make sure you're dealt with." At that moment, the doors swung open and a team of police officers entered the hall. Panic crept into when she saw them moving towards her... she looked around desperately, trying to find a way to escape.

"No... I can't go to jail..." She said in a trembling voice.

Ivy glared at Lora and lunged at her, screaming, "You bitch! I'll kill you- Ah!" Before she could reach Lora, Ryan kicked her down and hissed, "Stay the fuck away from her!" Ivy's eyes widened. She looked pitiful as she looked at Ryan before saying, "Ryan, how could you do this to me? After everything I've done for you... you oweyour life-" "No bitch... he doesn't owe you anything. Now go rot in hell!" Lora spat, her eyes turning cold. She had gotten tired of Ivy's annoying attitude.

Ryan glanced at Lora and his heart soared high. 'Is she protecting me?' He mused, a smirk playing on his lips. The police officers got up the stage and restrained Ivy who couldn't stop screaming, "This isn't over! Lora, I won't stop until you're really dead!" Her words faded as the officers pulled her away from the hall as everyone watched. Ivy Williams' mask was finally off... her lies and manipulation were now in the open. After Ivy was no longer in sight, Lora took in a deep breath. She turned to Ryan, meeting his warm gaze.

Finally, it was over... Ivy was out of their lives forever.

Ryan approached Lora, his eyes softening as he looked into her eyes. He said, "I want to meet our children." Lora smiled and they maintained eye contact for a while... feeling the weight lift off their shoulders. "That was satisfying to watch!" Adan's voice broke the spell between Lora and Ryan.

Ryan tore his eyes away from Lora and glanced at his friend before Qm replying, "Try finally got what she "Ivy deserved." Lora nodded and looked at Ryan, saying, "It's tfor you to return to the hospital."

Ryan sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets and replied, "You go home, Lora only let you stay with.in the hospital because I didn't want Ivy to find out about you. Now that she's gone and I know you're safe, you can freely go home." don't need to take care Lora frowned. She said, "I took care of you because I wanted to-" you "SShh, I know," Ryan replied. He smiled and said, "Now go hand rest because starting tomorrow, I'm going to be chasing after you." Lora blushed profusely and Ryan smirked; he had forgotten howe easily Lora got shy. It seemed she hadn't changed that much and that was a good thing... he was going to enjoy teasing her.

An hour later, Ryan received a call from the police.

"Mr Kingsley, I'm sorry to deliver this news but Miss Williams has escaped."
