Chapter 181
Chapter 181
Sebastian glanced at Stephanie, watching her happily skip ahead like the carefree kid she used to be. “She's
doing fine.”
“Good. Bring her hsoon, or Sofia’s gonna hunt you both down.
Sebastian's smile faded. “Tell her to stay put.”
Sofia being Sofia, if she got her hands on Stephanie right now, she’d definitely make her pay for sneaking out of
Fiorenza.
And Sofia’s punishments were no joke.
“I'm trying to keep her in check,” Lottie said, “or it won't be a three-month punishment this time, it'll be three
years.
Sebastian's face darkened instantly.
No way was he letting that happen.
They exchanged a few more words before Lottie added one last thing, “And keep a close eye on her this time.
Don’t let my baby girl disappear again.”
The fact she kept calling Stephanie her girl said everything about how much she’d missed her these past few
years.
“Got it.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtSebastian hung up.
Elliot, who had just parked the car, walked over. “Miss Giovanni really has zero feelings for Mr. Ashford.”
They all saw how hard she’d hit him.
If Sebastian hadn't stepped in, she probably would've broken a few more bones.
Sebastian chuckled. “Of course. She’s got better taste than that.”
Even if Chris wasn't still tangled up with Olivia, Stephanie would never go for someone like him.
Elliot shook his head. “Mr. Ashford is still trying to buy Whispering Bay.”
“He might as well pitch a tent on the beach.”
Sebastian's tone was pure mockery.
Obsessing over that property like it was the only house with an ocean view-did he even realize Olivia might not
have that much tleft to enjoy it?
“Exactly,” Elliot agreed. “It's the sdamn ocean wherever everyone stands. Why fixate on Ms. Stephanie
place?”
“They still don’t know Whispering Bay's actually in Stefi's name?”
“Nope.”
If they're this clingy now, they'll go crazy once they find out.
“Go ahead and release that signed disownment agreement.”
They should do it properly-in public, for everyone to see.

Chapter 181
Better to cut ties clean now, before they spot an opportunity and crunning to cash in.
Elliot got the message. “Understood.”
A family cold enough to formally disown their own daughter deserved to have it broadcast loud and clear. If they
wanted to be heartless, they could own it.
Better keep them from leeching off Stephanie the moment they find out who she really was.
Meanwhile, Stephanie was also on the phone with Ella.
“Sent you the signed agreement. When you post it, zoom in on Mrs. Hart's signature so everyone can see.
Ella chuckled. “Got it.”
Blowing up the signature like that wasn't just for clarity-it was making sure the whole world saw that the Harts
had officially cut her off.
“You're rushing this like you're scared they'll cback and try to milk you later.”
Cutting ties was never something Stephanie rushed before, but now that Sebastian found her, she suddenly
couldn't wait.
Stephanie didn’t even hesitate. “Exactly.”
The Harts had shown their true colors these past few years.
If they ever found out she'd been raised by the Giovannis, they'd probably flip faster than a pancake.
It’s not like they could actually leech much off her, but for Stephanie, protecting Sebastian's interests cfirst.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAs long as she was around, the Harts wouldn't get a dime.
Alright Talk later.”
Stephanie hung up and glanced at the water in front of her. What was this place? What was Sebastian planning
to feed her
here?
And where's the fun food?
Turning around to find him, she accidentally walked right into his chest with a solid ‘thud.”
“Ow!” She rubbed her forehead and glared up at him. “Why are you standing right behind me? Now I've got a
bump!”
Sebastian chuckled and gently rubbed her forehead, his touch soft and indulgent.
He'd heard her whole conversation with Ella-and this little troublemaker had been thinking exactly what he was.
