Chapter 1027 Peeper

“Gideon?”

Enter title…

Just as Gideon was about to walk over and investigate, his roommate happened

to pass by and enthusiastically called out to him.

Gideon slightly furrowed his brows, puzzled. “Did you just come from this way?”

His roommate nodded, not understanding why he asked. “I saw your back from

far away. What happened?”

Gideon shook his head. “It’s nothing. Let’s go back to the dorm.”

Maybe what he had felt just now was his roommate’s gaze?

After the two left, a figure emerged from the woods, looking in the direction they

left with a face full of resentment and a flash of murderous intent in their eyes.

Meanwhile, Lena, who was planning to go back to her dorm, was caught by

Rumba, who asked her to help deal with some troublesome documents.

This wasn’t the first time this had happened, so Lena had no choice but to go

with him to the office.

“How’s it going with you and Gideon?” Rumba asked with a smile as he sat in

front of the computer, looking at Lena.

Lena paused for a moment. “It’s pretty good now.”

“Now?” Rumba keenly sensed the hidden meaning in her words. “It seems like

you two have gone through some rough patches.”

Lena nodded, not too concerned about this matter. “The problems have been

resolved now.”

Rumba had thought it would take them longer to sort things out. A flash of

admiration appeared in his eyes.

“Both you and Gideon have very distinct and excellent styles. But even the most

talented people need to learn to appreciate others’ strengths and even learn from

them,” Rumba earnestly advised Lena.

Lena was startled. She hadn’t expected Rumba’s real intention to be this.

“I understand.” Lena sincerely thanked Rumba, realizing that teachers indeed

see further than they do.

A designer could stick to their unique style, but they could not be ignorant of

other styles.

By the time she finished dealing with the documents, it was already late.

Lena declined Rumba’s offer to take her home, choosing to walk alone to her

rented apartment.

For convenience, she had rented a small apartment near the school early on, but

she had never invited anyone over, and no one knew about it.

The streets weren’t very crowded, and Lena unconsciously quickened her pace,

swiftly crossing the deserted streets.

She was still thinking about Rumba’s words. The teacher was right. She should

be more open-minded and try to understand others’ styles…

While Lena was lost in thought, suddenly, a figure blocked her way.
