Chapter 889 Mechanical Bees
Joe also understood Charlotte’s reasoning and could only sigh softly.
“Tomorrow, Gorya and Erik will escort them back.”
Although they couldn’t fulfill Ben and Anna’s travel plans, they were both
sensible kids who would understand as long as they explained it properly.
Charlotte knew what Joe was thinking and smiled, saying, “Once this is over,
we’ll make it up to them.”
Ben and Anna had always been clever and wouldn’t be at a disadvantage in
this matter.
Joe thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.

The next morning, Joe and Charlotte solemnly explained the situation to Ben
and Anna.
“Then you guys have to compensate us in the future,” Anna pouted.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtCharlotte smiled and patted her head. “Mom promises to do that for sure.”
Meanwhile, Sharon hurriedly sought out Ben. He showed him the drone in her
hand and explained his request.
To his surprise, Ben shook his head. “This drone has been modified to the
limit; there’s no way to change it further.”
Sharon felt somewhat disappointed, realizing that he might have to figure out
a way to blend in with those people on his own.
However, in the next moment, Ben pulled out a black box. “Although that one
can’t be used, this might do the trick.”
Sharon looked at Ben in amazement and said, “Why didn’t you bring this out
earlier? Were you deliberately teasing me?”
He opened the box and was immediately stunned.
Although he knew that Ben was very clever, he hadn’t expected him to be this
brilliant.
Inside the box that Ben held were three small, jet-black mechanical bees,
each only about a quarter the size of a child’s palm.
These mechanical bees wouldn’t even attract attention during broad daylight,
let alone at night.
“Can these things… fly?” Sharon gasped. Though he didn’t know much about
the drone market, he was certain that there was nothing like this available.
Ben nodded, and after a few moments of tinkering with Sharon’s phone, he
quickly handed it back.
Sharon took a look and saw that there was a homemade app on the phone.
Upon opening it, he found a control panel for the mechanical bees.
Sharon cautiously tapped one of the bees, and it immediately flew silently into
the air, responding to his controls as it moved up and down.
He quietly flew this bee over to Joe’s feet and landed it quietly.
It took several minutes before Joe realized something was amiss. He was
about to pick up the mechanical bee by his feet when Sharon stopped him.
When Joe married Charlotte, Sharon had only harbored some slight

Why did this man have such good luck? How could his son be so intelligent?
“What is this?” Joe walked over, holding the mechanical bee. Ben had to
explain it to him again.
Joe was stunned.
Then, he ruffled Ben’s hair and said, “Looks like your lab work hasn’t gone to
waste.”
Ben then handed a few rings to them with seriousness. “These rings can
release three tranquilizer darts in a critical moment. Maybe they can help
you.”
The adults present were all momentarily surprised but then smiled as they put
on the rings.
Charlotte held Ben in her arms and said to him, “Mom and Dad will be back
soon. You don’t need to worry.”
