“So, what’s your game plan now that you know Kya is your daughter?” Estelle
asked.
Charlie looked at Estelle, his eyes filled with pain but also determination. “I love
her. I want to marry her. Even before I knew about Kya, I was serious about

“Can you tell me about her time in Oakdale City?” Charlie asked, “Which
hospital did she give birth in? Where has she been living?”

In the photo, Emily was holding Kya, her head slightly tilted, her cheeks fuller
than now, her eyes soft and joyous as she looked at the child in her arms.

Charlie’s gaze turned serious, he didn’t want to wait anymore, but he knew

The sky had turned completely dark, Estelle asked, “Where’s Kya?”
“At my place.”
“Then you should take care of Kya and give Emily some time to think about your
relationship.
“Sure.” Charlie stood up, “Thank you, Estelle. I really appreciate it.”
“Emily is my friend.” Estelle smiled.
Charlie nodded, “I’ll leave then. Have a chat with her. I’ll come back tomorrow.
I’ll take care of Kya, so tell her not to worry.”
“Alright.”
