Gina received her assurance, nodding, “Alright, when?”
“I’m in a hurry, as soon as possible, tomorrow!” Noreen spoke with a look of
urgency.
Gina reluctantly nodded, “I’ll contact you tomorrow.”
Noreen gave Gina her number, “You can go now. Don’t tell anyone you saw me,
not even my parents!”
“Okay!” Gina mumbled in response, standing up, “I’ll head home then!”
“Stay in touch at any time tomorrow!” Noreen reminded.

Gina left the coffee shop with a look of distress. Emily still owed OrbitaTech

some water!”
“Don’t bother!” Gina smiled, holding Kya, “I was busy recently and didn’t get to
see Kya. I’m taking her to my place for the day. Her aunt and uncle miss her a
lot.”
“Oh, does Emily know?” Ms. Simmons asked.
“She knows. I’ve already called her, and told her to come over for dinner after
work.” Gina smiled, “No need for you to make another call!”
Everything sounded normal, so Ms. Simmons didn’t think much of it, nodding,
“Alright then!”
“I’ll be going!” Gina said, leaving with Kya.
Once they left the complex, Gina headed east with Kya at a quick pace.
The Lamont Group Jonathan had just finished a meeting when he received a
call from Millard, “Mr. Lamont, there’s a problem,”
“What’s the matter?” Jonathan asked while walking.
Millard said, “The men I stationed around Sunset Ridge reported that a woman
just took Ms. Sullivan’s kid!”
Because of the previous incident with Antonia, Jonathan had Millard assign men
to keep an eye on the complex in case the Crawley family sought revenge on

The men hadn’t noticed any movements from Antonia’s side, but today they saw
a strange woman taking Kya.
Thinking it amiss, they reported it to Millard.
Millard continued, “They didn’t follow, but they took a picture. I’ll send it to you
right away.”
“Okay.” Jonathan nodded.
Millard sent over the photo, and Jonathan immediately recognized Emily’s
mother.
Just a few days ago he heard from Ella that Gina and Emily had severed ties.
Why would she suddenly take Kya?
