Estelle freshened up and then headed downstairs to Emily’s house.
“Why didn’t Jonah come with you?” Emily opened the door to find Estelle alone and she asked with a smile.
“He is helping me pack.”
Estelle replied and then walked over to Kya. She picked the little girl up, and went to have breakfast together.
During breakfast, Estelle brought up the idea of celebrating the festival in C City with Emily.
“Go back to C City?” Emily’s head shot up in surprise.
“Yes”” Estelle nodded with a light laugh, “It’s just my grandpa living there, and he enjoys having a lively
atmosphere”
Emily hesitated, “Are you sure it won’t be inconvenient?”
“It won’t be. And we don’t need to worry about accommodation!” Estelle found this was a great idea, “It’s settled

She then turned to Kya, “Would you like to come home with me for the holiday?”
Kya loved a lively atmosphere and she immediately nodded, “Yes!”
Having heard Estelle talk about her adoptive grandfather many times, Emily thought it would be nice idea to meet
this elder gentleman. She got up to pack for herself and Kya.
Since they were going to stay in C City for two days, Emily brought enough clothes for herself and packed extra for
Kya.
With everything prepared by nine, Millard’s car had arrived downstairs.
They got in the car and headed to the airport. Kya thought they were going on an adventure and was excited all the
way
Atter, their plane took off on time. It was a private plane, and their journey to C City took just a little over an hour,
so they arrived at the Jarvis family’s home around noon.
Wade had been waiting outside the gate for Estelle. When he saw them approaching, he greeted them with a joyful
smile, “Good day, Miss and Mr.
Lamont!”
“Mr. Wade, how’s your day!” Jonathan greeted.
“Good!” Wade responded with a smile, “Mr. Lamont’s gift has arrived, and he also sent one for me. I appreciate
your generosity!”
Not only had Jonathan sent gifts for the festival, but the Lamont family had also sent an extra present. It was a
traditional gesture, every member of the Jarvis family and the servants all received a share.
“You’re too kind!” Jonathan responded warmly.
Estelle, holding Kya, introduced Emily and Kya to Wade, “This is my friend Emily, and this is Kya. They’ve come to
celebrate the festival with us!”
She then introduced Wade to Emily, who greeted them with a smile.

In the lounge, they found Mr. Jarvis was in a video call with Estelle’s mentor, Mr. Quintin
Mr. Quintin had been invited to an art exhibition in B City for the holiday, that’s why Estelle hadn’t visited him before
the festival.
As Estelle and the others walked in, Mr. Jarvis intentionally turned the video toward Estelle, feeling somewhat
pleased. “Estelle’s back, I won’t keep you any longer. Enjoy your lonely holiday in B City!”
“Estelle Mr. Quintin called out from the other end of the video.
Before Estelle could respond, Mr. Jarvis ended the video call.
He chuckled as he put away his phone. Then he turned his head and noticed Estelle holding a child. He was taken
aback and asked Jonathan, “When was this child born? Has she grown so quickly?”
A blush spread across Estelle’s face as she hurried to explain, “This is Kya, Emily’s daughter. They’ve come with me
