Rosalie stood at the door, watching Theodore coaxing Steve. She paused in her steps.
It didn't take long for Theodore to calm Steve down. When he saw Steve stop crying, a gentle smile appeared on his face.
"I'm leaving now. I won't disturb you. You and your mom should go to sleep early." He carefully placed Steve on the bed, but as soon as he let go, Steve started crying again.

"Steve, be a good boy and sleep, okay?" At that moment, Rosalie walked forward. "Theo." Hearing her voice, Theodore immediately cback to his senses and realized that he had overstepped his boundaries.
"Sorry, I rushed in as soon as I heard him cry. Here, I'll give him back to you." He wasn't sure why, but when he heard Steve cry, he felt sad. He had an urge tofort Steve, almost as if it were a responsibility. Theodore stepped forward and handed Steve to Rosalie.
Rosalie reached out and took Steve from him. "Thank you. You should go now. Drive safe on your way back. It's very late." Theodore gave one last glance at Steve in Rosalie's arms, feeling reluctant to leave.
Just then, Steve started crying once more. He waved his little hands in the air as if trying to grab something. His mouth was wide open as tears streamed down his face.
"Steve," Rosalie quicklyforted him. "Don't cry, Mommy's here. Don't be afraid." Rosalie tried her best to soothe him. She then placed Steve on the bed and took off his diaper, realizing that he had peed. She quickly grabbed a new one and changed his diaper.
She thought everything would be fine after she changed his diaper, but he kept crying even after that.
Rosalie picked him up again, trying tofort him. "What's wrong, dear? Are you feeling unwell?" Theodore walked over. "Is he hungry?" "I've already fed him. He was fine before. I don't know what's going on," Rosalie replied.
"Lettry again, okay?" Theodore extended his hand.

Theodore held Steve and gently coaxed, "Don't cry, dear. Be good. Mommy is already very tired. Lethold you, okay?" Theodore paced back and forth in the room with Steve in his arms.
Less than a minute later, Stev stopped crying, though tears still glistened in his eyes. en.kikistories Theodore gently wiped them away with his thumb. "You're such a good baby." Rosalie looked at the scene in confusion. "Why does he stop crying when you hold him?" Could it be the bond between father and son, creating skind of maic force between them? "I'm not sure. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I'll put him down now. You two should go to sleep," Theodore replied.
Theodore placed Steve back on the bed, but as soon as he did, Steve started crying again. Theodore immediately picked him up, and the crying stopped. It was quite magical, but it seemed like a vicious cycle. en.kikistories Rosalie couldn't understand it either.
