Micah didn't say anything. A few seconds later, he handed a phone to Nina.
"No passcode needed," he said, then stood up and left.
The phone in Nina's hand felt incredibly heavy. She couldn't quite describe her feelings, but the opportunity to contact Nash was something she couldn't pass up. She had memorized Nash's number by heart. Soon, she heard Nash's voice on the other end.

To his surprise, it was Nina's voice that answered, "Have you been in touch with Wilfred?" "Yes," Nash replied, astonished but relieved to hear Nina's voice. She sounded strong, not injured.
But he wasn't completely reassured.
Nina spoke slowly, "I have sideas, things that work from the inside out." As she spoke, she kept an eye on her surroundings. Micah was not in her line of sight, and Nash's voice sounded in her ear, "Nina, don't act impulsively. This isn't something you should handle. Regarding the Yaren tribe, I've already submitted a request to the higher-ups." Nina understood Nash's situation. Birkham soldiers were different from those of the Yaren tribe or any other country's military. They were organized and disciplined, and everything they did had to be reported to the organization.
"Nash, I understand your situation. I don't blyou for not being able to rescueimmediately. I just want to do something." She clutched the phone tightly, her breath catching.
She never blamed Nash for not being able to rescue her right away. She was just worried about his safety. Nash's voice was firm. "You don't need to do anything. Wilfred is in the Yaren tribe, but we don't know his plan. Don't worry, I won't leave you there for long." His eyes held a determined look. He had even considered trading his life for hers.
"I already have a plan..." "Nina, I know your plan. You want to incite the slaves and coordinate withfor an internal-external attack. But you don't have a phone, a weapons. In the end, it woulddeltracking device, or advanced a dead end for all of you. Wait for me, letfigure something out." Nash interrupted her before she could finish. His voice was urgent.
Nina fell silent.

Nash knew they couldn't talk for long. He said hoarsely, "Nina, wait for me. It won't be long." Then, the busy signal echoed in her ear.
Holding the phone tightly, Nina felt her heart grow heavier. Whether it was Nash's call just now of the next NO moment when Micah appeared before her, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease.
Micah said, "This is the heart of the Yaren tribe, equipped with advanced heavy weapons advise you not to overthink it. You don't have the capability." Micah's words silenced Nina. Was her plan so easy to see through? Or did Micah have ssort of intuition that allowed him to understand her?
