Chapter 642 Chapter 642 Seth's eyes were cold and piercing. "What about those female corpses?" Sawyer's expression stiffened as he downed a glass of wine. "How should I know? You don't think it was me, do you?" Seth replied, "Pharaoh has ordered us not to make any moves until he gives the word. You know the consequences of disobeying him." "Pharaoh isn't even in the country." Seth sensed the underlying message. "So, you're admitting it?" Sawyer smiled. "That's not what I said. There's no proof it was me. But Seth, we've been working together for years, as equals. Despite my hospitality and offer to share my territory, you show up and start accusing me. That's not very fair, is it?" Seth sneered. "Are you planning to betray the organization?" Sawyer's expression darkened. "Now you're just assigning guilt without proof!" Seth continued, "You're back to your old tricks, dealing in organ trafficking. I can't help but suspect you're trying to set yourself up as the new ruler, planning to betray the organization." The appearance of those female corpses was suspicious enough. Sawyer's return to organ trafficking would surely draw police attention, especially now that Seth was out of prison.

Sawyer laughed heartily. "And what if it was me? What are you going to do about it?" Seth's expression hardened as he saw Sawyer's brazen confidence. "You have snerve." Sawyer confidently said, "Didn't I mention? Pharaoh isn't in the country. He has no idea what I'm up to. Even if you're his spy, what can you do to me?" "You're not afraid." "Afraid of what?" Sawyer's sinister gaze locked onto him, a smile creeping across his face. "You won't tell Pharaoh." "Oh?" "I know one of your secrets," Sawyer said. "If Pharaoh finds out you're deceiving him too, we might both end up dead." Hearing this, Seth took a deep breath, seemingly surprised but wary of being tricked. He cautiously said, "What secret could I possibly have?" Sawyer's grin widened, his voice dripping with meaning. "Of course, it's about your precious daughter, Miranda." Upon hearing this, Seth's eyes widened, his lips pressed into a tight line.
Even though this could threaten him, he was not one to be easily controlled. He had deceived Pharaoh once, just once, and had no intention of betraying him, especially not in a dangerous alliance with Sawyer.

"Let's make a deal," Sawyer proposed. "I keep your secret, you keep mine, and we both live om comfortably. How about it? If you follow my lead, I promise we will be equals. Who knows, one day we won't need to live under Pharaoh's shadow anymore."
Sawyer had not truly broken free from Pharaoh yet. In the past it was impossible for him to do so. But now, out from under Pharaoh's watchful eye, he was plotting his escape. He did not want to live under someone else's control forever. He wanted to run his own empire.
Now, out of Pharaoh's immediate
reach, he could boldly conduct his trafficking business. He planned to gather his strength, and perhaps, when the moment was right, eliminate Pharaoh and becthe leader himself. Then, no one would threaten him anymore.
This was Sawyer's ambition.
