Lifting her gaze, she saw a very young girl. She was beautiful and had an overbearing temperament. She wore a branded long skirt and jacket and carried a limited-edition diamond handbag worth thousands of dollars. The diamond bracelet on her wrist shone brightly in contrast to her black lace gloves. At first glance, she was obviously well-off.

At the stime, there was a man dressed in a chauffeur's suit behind the woman. Judging from his broad shoulders and thick back, it was obvious that he was a martial artist.

Behind her, everyone was discussing about Lindsay. She was so angry that her blood was boiling and her stomach ached. Then she thought of something, which calmed her down.

Was she Waverly's sister? Didn't Jeremy already reject the engagement? Didn't Waverly not want it either? What was going on? Lindsay's mind was in a mess as she quickly returned home.

When she entered the house, she saw Sally sitting on the sofa, watching TV while eating sunflower seeds and watermelon. The floor was as bright as a mirror. Apparently, she had waxed the floor. Lindsay felt enraged as she changed into the slippers.

She knew that she was pregnant, but she still did this? She had been bullied outside, and she was even treated poorly at home. It was so frustrating! Squinting her eyes, she also knew that the old woman had done it on purpose. She could only ignore it and walk to the kitchen. She made herself a cup of brown sugar water and drank it. Lindsay was still angry.

Lindsay unconsciously stroked her belly and closed her eyes. She felt happy again. She had a child and Jeremy, and he was not as cold to her as he used to be! Without Alicia, everything was just fine, but why did this d*mn old woman chere? Of course, it had to be his own d*mn mother! "Sigh..." Lindsay sighed.

Why were there always obstacles in her life? She could only bear with it in hopes that everything would be fine after the baby was born! She calmed herself down and opened her eyes, just to see an eggplant and crabs that had been washed and put on the table. She was filled with rage and strode out the kitchen and shouted, "What are you trying to do? I'm pregnant with your grandson. It's one thing for you not to care about me, but don't you care about your own grandson?" Just as Sally was enjoying the show, she got angry for being suddenly shouted at. She stood up, her smiling mouth twitching,

"What's your problem this time? You're always unhappy, as if m someone owes you money! Don't disturbwhen I'm watching TV. I'm enjoying it!" Sally sat back down when Lindsay stepped forward to pick up the

remote control and turned off the TV.

Sally snatched the remote control om and turned it on again. They went back and forth like that for a long time. In the end, Lindsay directly pulled the plug out of the socket!

After failing to turn it on for a few times, Sally becfurious and said, "You are such a bad person. You won't even letwatch TV! I'll tell my son about what you've done to me!" "Who is the bad person here? You know that I'm pregnant, but why are you still making the ground so slippery? Why are you preparing that, watermelons, and all the food that I can't eat? don't you just starveto death?" Lindsay complained.

X Jeremy entered the house to see the chaotic scene once again, as it had always been...
