The Drakes Dominion Order led the three major sects in the Southwest. It was considerably stronger

than the Embersteel Order and the Frostwing Sect.

Kayson could not afford to offend such a large sect. After all, Dusthaven Village relied on their

protection to survive.

“Mr. Zaeske, I’ll be blunt. The guy you saved, we want him!” Yonah said with his head raised.

In an imposing manner, he declared, ” As long as you hand him over to us, you’ll be a friend of the

Drakes Dominion Order!”

“I…” Kayson looked contemplative.

His initial intention to make a quick profit through Ryan had unexpectedly attracted many powerful

forces. Now that the Drakes Dominion Order had spoken up, he lacked both reason and courage to

refuse.

“Yonah, we all have the same goal here. Don’t you think claiming it all for yourself is inappropriate?”

Right then, Bran Kingsley from the Frostwing Sect chimed in.

“Why? You have a problem with that?” Yonah narrowed his eyes, his gaze hostile.

“It isn’t just me who has a problem. I believe everyone here harbors discontent.” Bran raised both arms,

cleverly including everyone in his camp.

The Drakes Dominion Order was a strong sect, and the Frostwing Sect was at a disadvantage in a

one-on-one battle. However, with a few allies, the situation would change entirely.

“What’s this? Are all of you going against us too?” Yonah cast a threatening glance around. Everyone

exchanged glances but remained silent, showing no intention of leaving. Clearly, they were unwilling to

allow the Drakes Dominion Order to monopolize the situation.

“Jackson, what do you say?” Yonah turned to Jackson, initiating the conversation.

He disregarded most of the people present, but Jackson from the Embersteel Order was an exception.

It would be a tough situation to handle if he allied with Bran.

“I don’t care about your past grievances, but you can’t just take Ryan away,” Jackson said calmly.

“That’s not up to any of you to decide. It all depends on Mr. Zaeske.”

Yonah turned his attention back to Kayson, his gaze sharp.

“Mr. Zaeske, make up your mind. As long as you hand the guy over to me, the Drakes Dominion Order

will take care of any troubles you encounter in the future!”

“Mr. Zaeske, you’d better weigh your options carefully. Hand the guy over to the Drakes Dominion

Order, and you’ll be provoking not only the Frostwing Sect and the Embersteel Order but also all the

forces present here,” Bran threatened.

“Uh…” Kayson froze, glancing around and feeling utterly lost.

What was he supposed to do now?

Handing Ryan over to the Drakes Dominion Order would upset the Embersteel Order and the

Frostwing Sect. However, if he didn’t, he would offend the Drakes Dominion Order instead.

Either way, Kayson found himself in a precarious position.

Right then, Kayson’s eyes landed on Dustin and Grace. Almost immediately, he had an idea.

“Dear guests, I wasn’t the one who rescued the man inside, so I have no authority to hand him over.

His real savior is this doctor right here. You can discuss any matters with him.”

Kayson suddenly pointed at Dustin, shifting the focus onto him.
