As she wrapped the bouquet, the little girl smiled and said, "It depicts silent love. It is similar to white hyacinths,
but it is not the same. Sunflowers always face the sun, just like you always face the person you love. Although it
is a silent secret love, it is more direct than what the hyacinth expresses!"
Reese nodded. "Then helpget smore sunflowers!"
The little girl looked at her curiously: "Do you want to send them together with the bouquet?"
Seeing the little girl's enthusiasm, Reese didn't hesitate to answer. She shook her head. "No, | want to put the
sunflowers in a vase and put them in my room!"
The little girl nodded with a smile and helped Reese wrap up.
Reese paid the bill, got into the car and left.
It was less than eight o'clock when she returned to Hill Crest One Residence.

However, the house was quiet and the lights in the living room were on.
Reese opened the door of the mansion and walked in. After taking two steps, she saw Lukas sitting on the sofa in
the living room and looked up.
He was holding a cigarette in his hand and leaning on the sofa with a cold expression and no warmth in his eyes.
Reese thought about the previous phone call and sounded a little worried, "Have you eaten?"
Lukas looked at her and looked away, his expression cold and lazy. "Does it have anything to do with you?"
Reese was slightly startled when she heard Lukas's tone.
She suddenly remembered that in the morning, Lukas had asked her what she wanted to eat for dinner, if she
was going hor something.
He clearly said it was nothing and just asked, but in the evening when she and James went out for dinner, he
angrily hung up and turned off the phone.
But now she goes hand he stays at hsmoking. No matter how you look at it, he comes back right after
work.
It was unbelievable that he didn't go out to eat with his friends at such a festival. Reese suddenly seemed to
have a clue and understood it all at once.
Lukas was so deceitful for asking that question in the morning. But maybe he probably he wanted to celebrate
the festival with him in the evening after all the work was done, Reese thought.
She didn't know if her guess was correct, but in front of the cold-faced Lukas, she couldn't get angry anymore.
She took two steps forward, picked up the flowers in her hand, and smiled at Lukas. "We are now husband and
wife. If you haven't eaten, it's because of me!"
Lukas suddenly raised his head and glared at Reese, seeming a little angry, especially when he saw the flowers
in her hand, his expression beceven more ugly.
What's the matter, did she bring those broken flowers from someone to hjust to show it off on his face?
He stared at Reese's delicate little face. "Since you know that we are husband and wife, how dare you still come

Reese didn't understand for a while and was a little confused. "What?"
Lukas sneered sarcastically: "Reese, why didn't | notice before that you are so good at pretending to be
innocent? What? Don't you know anything? You brought hflowers you received from other men, you ... you
know who | am talking about!"
Although Reese knew that Lukas was angry, she was still angry and speechless at the thought of being
misunderstood by him.
She stared at Lukas twice, then walked over and threw the white hyacinth on the table. "You're thinking too
much. When | cback from dinner, | happened to see the flower shop and thought of you so | bought one for
you to display in your room to make up for forgetting what today is for. Anyway, do whatever you want with
those flowers. I'm going upstairs."
After Reese finished talking, she took the sunflower and went upstairs.
By the tLukas cto his senses, Reese had already gone to her room.
Lukas looked blankly at the hyacinth on the table, then turned to look at Reese's back.
